Expensive but worth it
We finished our kitchen remodel last month and lined some of the shelves with this cork on the shelves where glasses are stored to catch any residual dampness and also prevent breakage. Also lined the pots/pans drawer and other storage drawers to keep stuff from sliding around. Great product and I've used it in the past.10/8/2024 - I forgot to add this: The cork is tightly rolled and doesn't want to lie down flat. Also needs some help to STICK. I had to get the hair dryer out and warm the cork, then press it down so it would stick. So this additional step took some time. To me it was worth a little extra effort, but maybe that would be a negative for some.

Great for my craft projects
I make coasters out of tile that I have painted on. This works great as a backing for those tiles. It is easy to cut to size and a perfect thickness for the use. I have not had problems with ripping but on initial roll out a little bit of problem with laying flat but once it is stuck onto the tile stays in place.

Nicer than regular contact paper
I like this, but it's probably not for everyone:- more expensive than contact paper- it's a little tricky to install, since the cork can crack if you fold or roll it too tightly- after installing, there are little chunks of cork to vacuum or sweep outWhat I like about it- appearance- absorbs water- cushions and dampens contact with dishes as I put them in the cupboardI measured and used scissors to cut cork for as many drawers and cabinets as I could, then installed them, one after the other. I got pretty good at it this way.The adhesive can be tricky, and the cork tends to keep its rolled shape, which requires flattening. I ensured the cork was properly positioned, then gradually pressed it into contact with the cabinet or drawer from one side to the other. It has stayed in place pretty well; only the very small pieces popped up, so I placed dishes on them & they've stayed pretty well.Cork probably isn't for everyone, but I like it.

Easy to install, keeps silverware tray from sliding in drawers
I finally got annoyed enough with the silverware tray sliding around in the drawer every time I opened it to look for a solution. This cork liner was very easy to install (lined markings on the paper backing that you remove to expose the adhesive), and it has stopped the sliding -- the tray stays put. Wish I had found this sooner!I remember the difficulty of installing old-style paper in drawers -- you needed an extra hand or two to hold the paper straight while sticking the adhesive down, and invariably the paper would get stuck where you didn't want it and it was a frustrating mess. This cork liner was so much easier, because it is stiff enough to not get tangled up, yet flexible enough to bend as you are tucking it into the drawer. And it looks terrific -- clean and polished, and not like Grandma's kitchen. ;-)

Contact Cork is AWESOME!
I bought this cork to line my flatware and knife drawers in my kitchen. I am sick of everything sliding around the knife drawer and I don't want to use containers for each knife. Cork allows the knives to lay flat and looks great. This was easy to cut (I used a rotary cutter and mat) and the adhesive holds very well. I only wish there was more on the roll as I found a bunch of other uses for it and had to go order another. I HIGHLY recommend this product. P.S. This will not work as instant corkboard for use with pushpins. It is thin cork used to line things or add accents.

Not so sticky
Could stick better. They peel off over time.

GREAT SOLUTION
I purchase this cork contact paper to line some wooden drawers that were stained and unsightly. It was a fabulous fix! It blends really well with wood, covered up the stains, created a nice padding in the drawers, is nice and thin and easy to use, and added its own cool factor!!! Really love this product!

Perfect for laser projects like coasters. $mart $ize to buy!
Has stuck to (clean!) laser-cut coasters and projects very well; has even held up to inquisitive children. Makes great sense to buy this size rather than the 12"x4' roll. It's like getting 6"x4' free -better than free since it even costs less (as of 8/2024). Unroll and then carefully, loosely reverse-roll to semi flatten the roll. Use a 45mm rotary cutter (at Amazon) and acrylic sewing ruler to hold it down and cut it into 12" lengths. Cut each section down to 12"x12" and you'll have 6"x12" free leftovers. Put them under a stack of basswood for a few days and it will flatten out nicely.
