Great Camera from a Great Manufacturer!
These new 4MP ProHDs are really nice. I've been using Amcrest cameras for the last couple of years and they are all really nice. The user interface for the old Foscam cameras was always so clunky, but the interface for these new foscam cameras is really, really nice. These cameras are really easy to configure and they SUPPORT CHROME! The old ActiveX controls for viewing live video just aren't useful when 90% of the world is using Chrome these days. I can verify that the Chrome plugin works GREAT on these cameras! Well done Amcrest on another great camera! One final note. There are a couple of negative reviews on the "black" version of this camera. One review talked about camera reboots. I had this happen on an older model Amcrest camera early last year and the Amcrest support team was AWESOME and replaced the bad camera promptly. Turns out, IT WASN'T EVEN THEIR PROBLEM! I was using an aftermarket POE injector that was flaky. After Amcrest changed out my camera and I still had the issue, I switched out the injector and all the problems went away! Flaky power converters can definitely cause regular crashes! The other review about the cameras being counterfeit really seems like someone just trying to trash Amcrest. These are really great cameras folks! You can't beat the quality for the price!

Awesome camera.
I really love this camera. It has a great picture, a ton of settings and was very easy to install. I was not familiar with the ethernet POE technology until I purchased this camera. It is pretty straight forward, plug the PoE injector into the router and plug the camera into the PoE injector. I did have some trouble getting the cloud account setup, but it was my error. I called the helpline and the CSR linked to my iMac and made the necessary changes. It works great. The only thing that I had a problem with is the weather seal gizmo that is supposed to seal water out of the ethernet connection at the camera. If your ethernet cable has no connector pre-installed it will work as it is supposed to but if your cable has the connector already in place, you cannot use the weather seal. I had to put a couple rounds of black tape to seal the connection, which is not ideal. If you plan of buying more than one camera you will want to get a PoE switch as it will power multiple cameras. Great camera, I will buy another one. I wanted to add that I would give it 5 stars but the cloud storage is misleading or maybe I didn't read the fine print. I thought 4 hours of free cloud storage would be each motion event which is about 1 minute or so in length which would be approximately 300 or so events. That is not how it works, the cloud storage will give you the last four hours and if there are any motion events then you can see them. So if my car gets broken in to at midnight and I get up at 6am then I won't get to see the event because it is not within the last 4 hours. Unless I get a push notification at midnight and look at it then. Kind of misleading.

Poor FAKESPOT rating & Dead Camera & Poor Support - Not Pleased
///// Initial Review /////Summary:I went with Amcrest because at first I thought it was American, it's not - it's from a Chinese OEM. I still went with them because the design is really nice, I thought there would be adequate support but there's not, not to mention one out of three cameras was dead on arrival.I really hope with the working cameras. I have that nothing else happens and I'm able to increase my rating but as of right this moment, I feel it justified.Quality of Image:7/10Good during the day, what you'd except. No over saturation, camera itself has granular control built in which I appreciate.Night time - VERY grainy. I adjusted settings on the camera itself, didn't really help much. In contrast I have a Hikvision (also Chinese but the actual OEM itself, not a 3rd party like Amcrest) that was created 3 years ago and it was noticeably less granny and could actually see further with brighter background.Support:4/10I give them 4 stars because so far everyone's been nice to me, I really appreciate that. It gets a low rating though because basic questions seem to be a huge ordeal like will a 15.4 watt POE port power the camera on it's own without an injector. I had 3 different responses. I noticed everytime I connect, it seems to change the name, yet the formation of sentences seems to be the same exact person with poor English.. but very American names. Regardless, the answers I ask should be very simple, should be the SAME answer every time, the product requirements for the same exact item should not change, it should be yes or no that this model can be powered by 15.4 watts POE without an injector.Quality:7/10I'd give it a 10 if one of them didn't die on me. The quality is fantastic and the design is very nice, really the best looking bullet cameras on the market. Unfortunately, aesthetics only goes so far.Trust:3/10According to FAKESPOT, Amazon has had to delete over 87 reviews from this listing alone (so far). Amcrest's other products have also been flagged for fake reviews and removed. Know that your customers aren't as naive as you might think, at least not all of us.I noticed after reading on a forum about security cameras that it's common practice for Chinese companies and their 3rd parties (like Amcrest, Reolink, etc) to post fake reviews. You venture over to Arlo and Nest.. amazingly it's a significantly different story. If your product is so poor that you require to push out so many fake reviews then perhaps you need to rethink your business model.Trust goes a long ways, don't abuse it.>>>> Would I recommend this to a friend: <<<<NOI plan on updating this and I'm very open to more positive feedback if things improve but as of right now, I'm disappointed

Much better cams for better price available
These worked fine at first, but 2 or 3 that I bought are now broken. I took care to seal the connection when mounting too so it can only mean the camera itself is just not durable to outside exposure. The 3rd one that still works is under an overhang so clearly it's not meant to be exposed outdoors. For the same price the Reolinks offer better video WITH audio and my reolinks are still going strong under the same mounting location and weather circumstances.
