Love the extra info on each element
Exactly as expected but was shipped in a manilla envelope and bent into a mailbox. Luckily it returned to flat after I left a book on it!

I ordered this for my son in Grade 9 science because the one his teacher gave him kept ripping out of his binder because it is just paper. I wanted something a little more sturdy and something he could become familiar with to easily find the information he needed. Although this one did not come with hole punches, the lamination is sturdy enough that it can be hole punched and put into a binder once you get it and shouldn’t tear. We haven’t tested this yet, but may hole punch it for next year as it is more convenient to carry around. This table is made with the university student in mind. It even includes the electron configurations for each element. That would have been really helpful for my first year chem tests, rather than having to sit and count it all out myself. However, for a high schooler, this is definitely overkill. That being said, it is still a very useful table and having him get used to reading off this now will only help him in the future as he learns more. I included a picture of the information that was included on his high school periodic table and a comparable picture of the information included on this one. Obviously, this is much more detailed. I was also concerned about whether the ion charges of each element would be included on this one, as they are a focal point of what my son is studying right now. They are included but instead of being called ion charges, they are more correctly referred to as oxidation states on this table and there are way more potential states than on the high school chart. Helpfully, the most stable states are bolded, making it easier to identify which state you should use most of the time. Overall, this is the periodic table I wish I had in university and although it is a bit much for high school use, I’m a believer that we should start with the end in mind, so getting used to using a table like this now isn’t the worst idea.

The atomic mass for each element is too small to read (why do I need to strain my eyes to read the atomic masses?

Got it for my son, is not only a complete periodic table, but at the back it has important constant an converting factors.

Exactly what I was hoping for my kids to use. Easy to read and laminated so it doesnt get as easily destroyed by teenagers in their school bags.

This is an excellent periodic table with lots of well-organized information but it is so small I needed a magnifying glass to read it. I would order a larger size next time.
