If you're looking for a spray coating that is really good at doing exactly what it needs to. This is it. Coats super easily, dries extremely well, doesn't take too long (times below and notes), the finish is immaculate. Generally for small and light spray items - 20-30 minute dry time For medium esque items to a bit large 40-1hr Large and anything beyond 1.3hr+ depending how much spray was needed to coat. LEAVE OUTSIDE/OPEN/EXTREMELY VENTILATED AREA. DO NOT INHALE. The fumes are strong and gross and just overall not good for breathing in. The smell after drying will still be there a bit but nothing unmanageable. DO NOT- spray in rain or decently high humidity as the water messes with the spray and coating. Try to find a more dry space while using.

I've been using Tamiya TS-13 for years on my Gundam model kits, but as I paint more and more on them the cost of that product was beginning to get daunting. This was appealing due to being marginally cheaper for a similar product, plus the can's bigger so there are less of those to keep around at once. It may just be my new go-to on Gunpla. It sets quicker than Tamiya TS-13 and was a little easier to apply uniformly, but that latter statement could always just be operator error on prior builds. I have a bad habit of putting coats on too thick and this was unforgiving to my thinned-enamel-based panel lining which started to run badly into places it shouldn't have been when I inevitably put too much on one area, so there was a prominent spot that I had to fix up after the initial coat. This proved easy to fix by just using some of this same company's lacquer thinner, so that's another plus but it feels like the Tamiya product is more forgiving in this regard. Matte coats have always been the popular preference in this hobby but as one of the outliers that likes the clean, polished up look of a nice gloss coat, this does the trick very well.

It works well. Be sure to use light coats to start. You can wait 15 minutes and do more. I usually spray the model fully first. Then let it sit 24 hours to cure. If you want more coats simply spray it again the next day, and let it sit for another 24 hours. Once you're done you'll get a nice, shiny kit. I used 15 coats on a gundam, and it was nice and shiny for 1 year. Now I can't notice anymore, so I am experimenting with another kit to get that glossy shine to last longer.

Make sure (and I know this is kinda self explanatory but) you spray this in a very ventilated area (outside if able). A thin coat goes a long way.

MGユニコーンを適当に表面処理してお試しトップコートしようと思って購入。 しっかり撹拌すれば変になったりはしませんでした。吹くときに近すぎたりずっと同じところに吹いたりすると垂れます。垂れてしまってもラッカーはすぐ乾くので、気になる場合は少し待ってから塗膜を削って吹きなおしましょう。 また、当然といえば当然ですがラッカーなので有機溶剤のにおいがしますしプラ製品を多少溶かします。私はブースもないのにめんどくさがって窓辺で作業して地獄を見ましたしなんならそのとき網戸を上げ忘れて若干ですが網目を詰まらせました。部屋に充満すると何かと良くないと思いますし何より具合が悪くなるので、特に換気設備が十分でない人は絶対に外で作業しましょう。

初心者ですが、きれいに光沢のあるクリアーで仕上げることが出来ました。 風のある日に作業した為か、軽く吹くと逆にザラザラでマットになりましたが、丁寧に行うことでクリアにななりました。 量も多いのでお得
