TBMaxDog Food Storage Container 3 Qt, Airtight Cat Food Container with Upgraded Large Spout, Portable Travel Pet Food Storage Dispenser for Small Animal Kibble Storage, Bird Seed Container

This container works perfectly for our needs. It holds a bag of dry cat food, looks nice (our choice was neutral clear with white), has a convenient handle on top to lift it, a pouring spout and even a measuring cup attached on top that you just lift off. Exactly what we needed. The only caveat is - be sure the capacity is what you need. If you buy those enormous bags of dry food, it won't hold the entire bag. It seems to be air tight, but I can't be sure. For us this container is great, highly recommend.Additional note as of 7/16/21. I hadn't noticed when writing the earlier review, but the measuring cup/cap does twist on securely - so if the container tipped over it's more likely the contents wouldn't spill - but I haven't tried that. Really happy with this item, so I bought another. Just remember it's not real big. Big enough for us, though. And it's easy to get the hang of how to use the latches on each side.

Our cat is on a medicated cat food that helps her with urinary problems. The bags we buy for her are small 4lb bags. The bags are resealable, but my wife thought this container would be convenient for measuring her food out while keeping her food fresh. Our cat eats 1/3 c. of food; once in the AM and another in the PM. Only about half of the small 4lbs. bag of cat food was able to fit into the container, and that bags we get are the smallest they sell. They're very small. I didn't order this product so I can't be harsh in my rating. The item is exactly how it's described. It doesn't work real well for us, but that's not the fault of the product. Manufacturer could take some notes, though.1) The lid and measuring cup BOTH have rubber seals. Awesome, except there's only a latch on the sides of the main lid, therefore, the front and rear ends of the lid don't appear to make an airtight seal. I can't prove that and haven't tested it, but there is notable movement that would indicate it's not as tight of a seal as one would hope for.2) The measuring cup doesn't have 3rds measurements. 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, etc. I need a 1/3 c. measurement line. For a few days, I just filled the cup between 1/4 and 1/2 figuring it would be close enough to 1/3. Immediately noticed that my cat wasn't finishing her food at each meal. She was leaving quite a bit in the bowl up until the next feeding. A few days later, I took a measuring cup from the kitchen, poured the cat food into the cup between 1/4 and 1/2c. lines, and poured it into the measuring cup and it was overflowing with a good amount of food still left in the cup. Without 3rd lines, it's relatively easy to overfeed.On the plus side:Seems to be well constructed, other than the front and rear rubber lid seal issue. It is a very convenient idea and concept. Would just love for it to hold more food, have better securement methods for the main lid, and additional fractional denominations on the measuring cup provided.

It's small-won't fit an entire 3lb bag of cat food, but works for me since it is small and can be stored out of the way. The measuring cup is a nice addition, and is useful for quick measurements! It does pop off easily, and my cat was able to knock it off, but wasn't able to reach the food inside the container due to the small hole on top. Overall, I'd probably buy a larger one, but was happy with this order for what it was!

I was expecting a more mid-size container but this one is really small. It would help to have product photographer place this item next to some common household appliance for people to get an idea of the actual size. However it works well for short day trips, road trips, airline travel, hikes and trips to the beach. The size works well for active people on the go. Nice and sturdy and the top handle makes it really easy to carry. I like the measuring cup. It is very useful and convenient. I would get this for small pets like Gerbil, Hamster, Ferret and rabbit pellets or treats. Works well for dog treats and biscuits too! In fact i might order one specially for my rabbit pellets.

This seemed like a ok container. It's not that easy to put on lid to get it sealed but not too hard. Took dog food on a trip and measure cup isn't secured that well and went missing. They don't sell replacement parts so your out of luck. Wait I will buy a regular container with a better locking mechanism and use my own measuring cup and if I lose that the container still works . I think this product is basically the same as the seller's rice container. Since the "pet food" container was cheaper, I bought it and am now happily using it to store rice. This container only has 2 fold-down locks that are on the 2 long sides, and not on the 2 short sides. I looked at how well the silicone gasket seals all around, and it does appear to be slightly less tight at the short sides. However, I couldn't see any gap, and I haven't had any issues with unwanted pests, varmints, or insects getting inside the container. I love that the measuring cup is part of the container (instead of having to store one separately), the top handle is nice for picking up the whole container, and the side with the concave indentations going all the way up the container make it super easy to grip when pouring contents out. Overall, quite happy with my purchase.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Two of the tabs that lock the lid onto the canister snapped and broke, the first time I closed it.

I got this for my ferret because she’s very small and doesn’t go through food that fast and her bags of food aren’t resealable so her food would just be open and exposed to air and this made me worry for the quality of the food. This keeps it safe and is airtight!!! (LOVE THAT!) I might get some more for my dogs food as well but this size might be too small.
