I had been looking for a good frame for the only picture I have left of my dad. Needed one silver and horizontal and found this at a great price. I only read negative reviews by the way and after receiving it still can't figure out why people think this is so hard to use! This is a very deep frame you could almost use it as a window box! The four holders you just pop in and out- literally. Like a Tiddly wink or a soda bottle top after opening for us old timers LOL. The glass is heavy and even the cardboard frame which I didn't use is a very nice heavy stock. The glass seems to be non glare and I'm very happy with the purchase. So thanks for whoever returned theirs because I bought mine through the warehouse at a great discount and 100% new no flaws and my daughter's graduation picture looks great I think! Thanks Amazon once again you've exceeded my expectations!

Sturdy, solid, nice frame for great price. Velvet back with 2 wall hooks and sturdy stand. Polished but not shiny black metal frame.

Really nice frame, pretty gold color and nice cream matte. Great for the price BUT we ordered for a gift and the first one had a badly damaged corner. The second one was better, but not perfect - slightly separated corner and scratched side, little defective cut on matte. It was for a Christmas gift and we didn't have time to order more, so I gave the slightly defective one, returned the seriously damaged. I'd order again but probably several so I could pick the best, return the rest. Seems very hit or miss re: overall quality.

It was absolutely perfect for what I wanted to put in it, which was a diamond painting and it really made the diamond painting shine even more but as I said it was a little smaller than actual painting I had that love the frame so much I trimmed the painting

The silver color pops just a bit more than regular aluminum and makes the product look a bit more expensive than it actually is. It was very quick to put in pictures and the corner clamps work well. We bought over 20 of these in various sizes to refurbish a wall display (pictured above) and they worked very well. Frames are very nicely packaged and all arrived in perfect order ready to hang.To answer two questions about the picture: laser level was used to project lines on wall, spacing is 1-1/4" between all sides of frames. The "family" script was purchased at a gift shop (Magnolia) in Waco, TX. There are similar signs available on Amazon. Buy one without screw holes and use straight pins to hang the sign for a very clean look. Sizes in our display are 11x14, 8x10, and 5x7. Hard to tell in the picture but against a gray wall, these give a very sleek modern look.Frames marked as "tabletop" also hang on the wall. The back is cleverly designed so that the easel stand can be clipped under a corner spring or left free to use on tabletop. When clipped in back it does not cause the frame to stick out from the wall as many combo frames do.Virtually the only thing I wish these frames had is non-glare non-UV glass, but that would also raise the price significantly. Highly recommend Golden State Art metal frames. We purchased a couple of extra in each size so that we could be sure to keep the wall display consistent as pictures change. Very happy with this purchase and highly recommended.

The tab on the back sits in so far that you aCannot use that to hang on the wall- I had to attach a piece of wire to get it hung!

Used to to frame the picture of our class during our 52 college reunion - looks great and worked well !!!
