Didn't work for me
No idea what the deal is with this motor, but I replaced my current one with this one, because my old one was making a loud waddling noise from the bearing failing. I also replaced the capacitor along side this new motor. This fan spins whatever direction it wants every time it turns on. Very strange. Must be something with the windings inside, i don't know. When it spins the correct way and blows air out the top of my condensor, it struggles to get spinning, sometimes it won't spin at all, I'll have to yank the breaker, and reinsert it until the fan struggles to move then eventually spins. When it decides to spin the wrong way, it fires right up like a champ every time. When its turning the correct way, i don't think this motor is even spinning fast enough to move air through the condensor efficient enough. With my old noisey fan motor, there was no problem cooling my house. Niw it cant get below 78. Was hoping to get another couple years out of my AC, but I'm just going to have the entire system replaced as its getting old anyways. I still think its worth a shot if you want to save a few bucks. Mine was just a dud unfortunately.

Did the trick
We had a couple of hot days waiting for this to come, but once it came it took 30 minutes to get things going again. Super easy install! Works well - and did the trick!

Works well, fairly quiet, had to swap the bolts
Depending on what motor you currently have you may have to swap the bolts over. I installed mine and it was very noisy. I realized while tightening the acorn nuts that came with the original unit the bolts backed out some. I swapped my original bolts in and it is working great now. Time will tell if it retains a 4 star rating. I knocked one star off for it coming with too long of bolts, however, I believe this may be unwarranted, because they may oversize them intentionally and expect you to cut them during your install. A few washers would fix the problem as well .

Great first impressions, very quiet, easy to install.
IMPORTANT!!! Do not use the tiny capacitor that it came with. If you notice your fan spinning the wrong way sometimes, it’s because of that tiny capacitor that this motor comes with. Use the same type capacitor that your unit and/or motor requires.Good replacement motor. Very quiet, and was easy to install. Highly recommend.

Bearing died after 3 months.
Condenser fan motor, installation was easy, was a good fit. Bearing started making noise about 2 months in, then died on 3rd month
