I’ve been using these bulbs now for a few weeks and they work great! Our outdoor post lights have the standard glass on the outside and also internal frosted glass chimneys on the inside, so I was concerned the sensor would get significant glare from all the glass and cause it to flicker. None at all! They come on at dusk and stay on until dawn perfectly. I don’t know why the seller chose such an unfortunate picture for the listing however. They used an animated picture in lieu of an actual picture TRYING to show what they look like when they’re on. The problem is it makes them look like those ugly yellow bug lights lol. Mind boggling and not well thought out. Betting a lot of potential buyers just skip them thinking they’re yellow bulbs. Unfortunate, as these are great bulbs with a bright/warm white glow.

It is brighter than I was hoping at what I thought was a 40W equivalent.The color is a warm yellow. Although brighter than hoped, it is not too bright.Dusk to dawn (so far) functions perfectly.Simple replacement of the bulb and it's functioning as a dusk to dawn light.Pretty much what I was trying to achieve. 5 stars for a product that delivers as promised.

It's great these bulbs have a photo cell built into the bulb. Makes for a very clean and easy installation. They work perfectly for me, on at dusk and off at dawn just like they advertise. I also like the warm white which is perfect for home use.

I was having problems With LED lights flickering in cold weather. I installed these and I have not had a problem since.

Placed bulbs into lamps on either side of garage door. leave garage light switch on, and the lights automatically come on at dusk and stay on until dawn. Works great!The lamps are somewhat too bright, and too white. Better than not having lights on at all, and better than having to deal with a timer. Inexpensive too!

We just love the idea of having Light Bulbs that turn on and off all by themselves for the front porch and patio.What a great invention, and I hope the person who invented this is very rich by now, because he sure did us all a great big favor. 😁Our 'Dusk-to-Dawn' lightbulb on our patio burnt out, so we went to a big box store to get a replacement.All I could find was the 'daylight' version at 60W or 100W. But even at 60W, the light was very bright, and it was a 'weird' shade of white.🫤So I ordered these from Amazon at 40W in a Soft White, which is more of a yellowish white. The light that comes from these bulbs is the perfect amount of brightness with a certain amount of warmth that the other one did not have. And the good news is, we have an extra one as a backup.We absolutely highly recommend that you give these bulbs serious consideration.💡💡💡

I put Dusk to Dawn light bulbs in my outdoor lighting so they automatically come on and off without me remembering to do it. Using these bulbs you don't need a motion sensor lighting installed if you want to provide some security lighting outside your home. This was a simple, affordable solution.

The bulbs are perfect for the outside front porch. They light up at dusk and turn off at dawn. I don't have to worry about forgetting to turn the porch switch on or off daily. The bulbs are great!!
