Great cord lock that maintains a tight hold but glides smoothly when necessary.
I bought this and another style of cord lock (plus some poly snap hooks) to “test drive” methods for adding adjustable cord-style shoulder straps to dry bags so hands could remain free. Both worked quite well, holding the cord snugly in whatever position I adjusted it to even when I pulled hard. I specifically looked for double-holed versions so a stopknot could be added by one hole and the other could accommodate the needed sliding movement. The size of this is good: it does not have a large profile and the round shape keeps it from chafing skin even when swimming ashore.

This is fantastic!!! Just what I was looking for. I have one old blind that won't stay up anymore. I've looked all over for the replacement mechanism inside to keep it up, but I can't find it. This works great.

Simple and to the point
I bought a roll of 550 paracord and some of these to hold some tree/shrub branches through the winter. They’ve worked well so far!

Very well made and super strong. The ability to make a small loop reduces slippage and allows for additional functions.

Works Great on My Sleep Pants
The cinch strings on several pairs of my sleep pants were begining to fray and break and after looking for an alternative to the original string I decided to give some 550 paracord a try. While the paracord was far superior to the original cord, it doesn't like to stay tied together. I had purchased a smaller version of single-hole spring stoppers for a different project in the past and they worked perfectly so, it was logical that the dual-hole spring stoppers would work well for this application.I've had these in place for two months now and have washed them at least a dozen times and they continue to perform exceptionally well at keeping my pants around my waist. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a way to secure clothing, backpack, or similar closure.

Functional, but not the strongest I have used.
These were built solidly, however the 'hold' of the springs wasn't strong enough for my use of tightening drawstrings on shorts. Disappointed, but will find other uses for them.
