The Ultimate Camera Strap — Versatile, Strong, and Comfortable!
I couldn’t be happier with the Peak Design Leash — it’s hands-down one of the best camera straps I’ve ever used. The seatbelt-style webbing feels premium and comfortable on the shoulder, and the adjustment mechanism is incredibly smooth and secure. I love how versatile it is — I switch between neck, sling, and shoulder modes effortlessly depending on what I’m doing. The Anchor Link system gives me total confidence that the camera is locked in yet easy to detach when needed. It carries heavy gear without flex or sag, and the build quality (zippers, stitching, metal hardware) feels totally reliable. If you want one strap that truly does it all — this is it. Highly recommended for hobbyists, pros, and anyone in between.

Best Camera Strap I Have Ever Used!
This is the best camera strap I have ever tried and is an immediate recommendation from me. Firstly, this camera strap is small and made from quality material. The strap is most similar to that of a car seat belt but because of it's compact design, it is surprisingly very comfortable to wear. The strap also has loops on the sides to easily adjust the height of the strap which is much better than the regular stock straps your camera comes with. Secondly, this strap has what Peak Design calls their "Anchor Link System" and it is an absolute game changer. They are quick release straps that enable you to easily take off the strap for easy storage or use while taking pictures. The main issue with regular straps is that the tend to get in the way when you want to take a portrait shot with your camera but with this strap, you can easily detach the anchor and easily attach it later. They even include 2 more anchors and another item to screw into the bottom of the camera to attach another anchor point so you can wear the camera across the body (which is my preferred way to wear this strap). Lastly, this strap has made me want to take my camera out more often. It's great design, quick release, and the portability make this strap truly a must have item. Just buy it!

LOVE IT, amazing sling
I recently purchased the Peak Design Leash Camera Strap in Sage Green for my smaller DSLR, and I’m beyond impressed! As someone who values both functionality and aesthetics, this strap checks all the boxes. Comfort: First off, the comfort level is outstanding. The strap is made from a soft yet durable webbing that feels great around my neck or shoulder, even during extended photo sessions. Unlike other straps I've tried, it doesn’t dig into my skin or feel cumbersome. It’s lightweight and breathable, making it perfect for long days of shooting. Design & Quality: The Sage Green color is a sleek, understated look that pairs beautifully with my camera, adding a bit of personality without being too flashy. The build quality is top-notch—everything from the stitching to the hardware feels solid and premium. The aluminum hardware is smooth to the touch, and the anchors provide a secure attachment without feeling bulky or intrusive. Versatility: What really stands out is the versatility of the Leash. The quick-adjust feature makes it so easy to change the length of the strap depending on whether I want to wear it around my neck or over my shoulder. The anchors are also incredibly easy to attach and detach, so I can swap between using this strap and a different one, or even pack it away in a bag when I don’t need it. Security: I also appreciate the security this strap provides. My camera feels well-supported, and the quick-release system gives me peace of mind knowing it’s securely attached when I’m out and about. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my Peak Design Leash Camera Strap. It's a well-thought-out design that combines comfort, functionality, and style in a way that few other straps can match. If you're looking for a premium, reliable strap for your system camera or smaller DSLR, this is the one to get. Highly recommended!

Peak Design, Low Profile, & High Performance
I use Peak Design religiously for my amateur photography needs. I use 7 of their products on a regular basis and this Leash is number 8. Yes, they can be expensive. However, you’ll get excellent customer support, a lifetime warrantee on all their products, and it just works. I have experienced such consistent performance and quality from their products that I don’t bother reading reviews or looking at competitors anymore. That being said, I had a problem with the previous camera strap I had purchased from PD. It was just too wide and sometimes cumbersome to use on just a Nikon D7500 with a simple 50mm lens. I didn’t need the strength and support that the strap provided. If you have longer, heavier camera lenses you should look for a sturdier strap like that one. Now that I’ve purchased and tested the Peak Design Leash I’ve determined it’s what I need. I’m not a professional but I am passionate about quality. This product is convenient, conscientiously designed, low profile, light, and stylish. I am a fan of the shade of green used. All of my past complaints are solved with the Leash. I can easily snap a shot without having to finagle anything and I can almost forget that I have the camera around my neck due to the comfortable design. The quick release anchors are secure and true to their name. Although not relevant to me now, if I do start using heavier lenses I can quickly swap straps with ease due to the compatibility of the quick release with both products. I can’t speak to whether you could find a cheaper alternative. I wouldn’t be surprised if you could. However, if you want a camera strap that is light, low profile, that is guaranteed quality, stylish, and is thoughtfully designed then this is the strap for you.

The best camera strap I've ever used. Pricey, but worth it.
What I like most about this camera strap (or in Peak Design's lingo, a "leash") is how long it is. 57" long fully extended, with a minimum length of 32". I use this leash with a Canon G7X-II, which is a small, light, point & shoot camera. This leash is strong enough to hold 200+, so the chance of it breaking and dropping my camera is nil. Peak also markets a heavier duty strap for dSLR's (and presumably small automobiles!). The leash includes 4 anchors that attach to the camera, 2 are needed, 2 are spare. The anchors are equipped with tough, thin cord loops that thread through the camera's strap mounts. The anchors in turn clip into the ends of the leash. The beauty of this system is that the leash can be removed from the camera quickly and easily when desired. The clip mechanism appears tough and secure, inadvertent release seems unlikely. The leash can be used to secure the camera in a sling arrangement, or as a shoulder or neck strap. The leash material is comfortable in all of these positions. The leash length mechanism is about the slickest adjustment technique that I've ever seen and can be used while being worn, even when you are walking. If it seems that I'm very impressed with this leash, it is because I am. However, there are two issues with this leash: 1. The leash is also supplied with an anchor mount that screws into the camera's tripod socket. Attaching this anchor to the bottom of the camera makes it impossible to mount the camera on a tripod. However, I couldn't find a configuration where this bottom anchor was stable for my compact camera, so this becomes a non-issue as I'll never use it. However, this device may be very useful for very heavy cameras like dSLR's. 2. The leash is a bit on the pricey side...but you get what you pay for. Would I buy this leash again? Yes, definitely.

Great camera strap
I have been putting off buying a camera strap for months now but finally decided to go with this one. I was debating on whether to get the Leash or the Slide Lite but ultimately went with this one because it seemed easier to handle and is cheaper. My main concern overall was price. At $50, this strap is not cheap. But after using it and getting a feel for it, I can say that yes, it is worth the $50. Of course, like all things, it would be better if it was cheaper but I think $50 is a good price for what you get. The strap material itself is a lot thicker than what I imagined, the anchoring system is very quick and convenient, and the overall aesthetics are great. My only real complaint is the sliding/adjusting mechanism. There are no clips like there are on the Slide and Slide Lite. You have to pull on two additional straps on each side of the strap to adjust the length. It is much easier to make the strap longer by pulling down than it is to make it shorter by pulling up. Besides that, I think this is a great camera strap. The quality is there and for $50, it should be.

Stylish and Versatile Camera Strap
TL;DR: The Peak Design Leash Midnight camera strap is a stylish and versatile accessory that complements any camera, offering comfort during long photo sessions and easy swapping between different gear setups. I've been using this camera strap, and I've got to say it's not just functional but also super stylish. What I really appreciate about this strap is its versatility. It complements any camera I use, whether it's my film cameras or my digital gear. The sleek, minimalistic design doesn't just look good; it also feels great to wear. It's comfortable around the neck and doesn't dig in, even during long photo sessions. One of the standout features for me is the ease of swapping it between cameras. It's a breeze to transition from one camera to another, which is a big plus when you're switching between different gear setups. Overall, this camera strap is not only a practical accessory but also a stylish one that adds a touch of class to my photography gear. It's become an essential part of my kit, and I wouldn't trade it for anything else. Pros: Stylish design Versatile and compatible with various cameras Comfortable to wear Easy to swap between cameras Cons: None observed; it's a fantastic camera strap.

Wonderful, secure, quality and versatile 📸
I bought this in ocean. It’s a really well designed strap. Sure, there are other similar and less expensive…but the thing I care about is my camera and keeping it tethered to me. Will the less expensive ones do that? Am I willing to take the risk? Now that I have this, I am glad…it’s wonderful, so much better than my old camera strap and I can wear it different ways, too. The color is beautiful. Easy to attach to my Canon Powershot G16. It’s not a top of the line camera, but it’s my investment and I love it. Highly recommended.
