Coming from a generalist supply chain background, I found this book to be helpful and insightful into some of the better practices of supplier management. It goes well beyond discussing only performance measurement and highlights how to engage suppliers and drive performance improvements. The only downside is the repetition in this book which seems more and more common these days among business literature. The same points are repeated several times over; more inline with filling pages rather than reinforcing ideas. This 220 pg book would have been just as insightful and twice as readable if it had been closer to 150 pg.
