I have been a Hallmark Christmas movie fan for sooo many years, there was a time that they would play the older movies along with the newer ones but that seems to happen less and less now. I love this movie collection and it was a very good buy for being nine movies. I can now watch my favorite older movies any time I want

What better way to spend the holidays watching some wonderful movies from Hallmark? You don't have to worry about the language or anything too adult if you have kids. Older kids will enjoy these films as well. They are warm, wonderful stories set during the holidays. Most are holiday romances. What we like is the clarity of the picture, since these are high definition copies. We still videotape Hallmark movies, but they are SD (standard definition), and in the old style letterbox format, since our recorder is from the early 2000s. We usually buy our favorite films when Hallmark releases them on DVD.This is a great collection of 9 films and at a fantastic price here on Amazon. I don't think some are available separately, such as "Window Wonderland." And I really appreciate "Looks Like Christmas" starring the late Anne Heche. If you love Hallmark movies and holiday romances, this is the perfect collection to add to your DVD collection of Christmas films.

9 movies and only 1 was so-so. So nice to have clean, feel good entertainment. We’ve already watched the first one twice. My husband watches Christmas movies with me & we both enjoyed watching one of these every evening as an alternative to the rerun TV we usually watch. 8 of them will definitely be rewatched in the future. Very happy with this purchase.

I love older Hallmark movies!

If you don't mind the subtle culturalindoctrinating that HMC is now engaged in which led to an exodus of more than a few of their key performers both in front of & behind the scenes, there are some hidden gems in this collection.Typical HMC format followed for the holidays which is not always the best one size fits all strategy (mentality?) they employ. They're featuring more starring storylines with leading performers above the typical 25 - 40 year old range which is nice for the large base of Baby Boomer and Gen X viewership they command.One sidenote: all three DVDs are held together in a single slot inside the case making it a little awkward (perhaps) to access a favorite film within the collection.Overall this collection is a good value while fun and "SANTAMENTAL" to watch (HO-HO-HO!)
