I'm deducting a star for the price. You can get magnetizers anywhere for a couple dollars, (and you should! They're crazy useful!) I bought this one as a gift for my son, to go with some other tools I got him. Despite the stiff price, it's a compact, sturdy, high-visibility unit that should provide years of reliable service, even for a working pro like my kid.

Love they show it with a split ring. Mine did not come with one. But my key ring isn't all brass or stainless steel keys anyway. But yeah, makes steel tools & bits strongly magnetic or, unmagnetic just as easily.
