Great little computer and also its lightness makes it excellent for travel

I use it for college; it's extremely light weight, easy to use, connects great, and is touch screen! One of my main concerns was getting a laptop from Amazon as I don't purchase electronics on here; however, it shipped quick, it wasn't damaged, and it works great!EDIT!Every once in a while the touch screen stops working, I figured out that if it needs an update or needs to be restarted after being idle for a couple of days it stops. The laptop works just fine without the touchscreen working, it doesn't stop mid work. You can turn it off or shut it and when you come back to it the touch screen has stopped.But as I said it's not anything where I've needed to contact anyone, it lets you know if you need an update. My friend has the same laptop but from the Acer website itself and hers does the same thing.

Overall like the laptop. Looks great. I only surf the internet and do office on. So I am not challenging the processor much. Fan does not come on much so it is quiet. i wanted 1 gig drive so went for this model over the newer model that claims to have better heat management. The keyboard is small but so is the laptop.The GoodScreen is beautiful.Not much bloatware on.Large hard DriveRuns 3 hours on one charge.USB C charging. Can get a nice small charger online for travel.Finger print scanner. Not more PIN numbers to access.The BadSound is awful. but i use bluetooth headphones a lot.The keys are hard to see because of silver color. Personally will not choose another silver laptop.The layout of keyboard took some getting used to. But that is function of small footprint.The delete key is next to power key. Have turned off laptop a few times by accident.

There is so much to like about this laptop at this price, but it has a big shortcoming in the amount of RAM. The screen is amazing at this price point, and the processor is great as well. It's portable, and the keyboard feels good to type on. BUT in 2024, 8 GB of RAM is just not enough. While watching any video at more than 1080p, the integrated GPU will start taking more of the shared memory. Eventually it maxes out at 4 GB and only leaves 4 GB for the remaining of the system. Laptop ends up freezing and I have to task-manager my browser to fix it. Very inconvenient. The bois is the most bare bones bois I've seen and can't make any changes to help. The ram is also soldered on, so no expanding/replacing. Almost amazing but disappointed in the end...

Firstly, this laptop hasi very robust i7-1370U CPU. Secondly, it has amazing non-touch OLED screen 2880 x 1800. Thirdly, it is very quiet, only once, after initial setup , when it came to updates, I've managed to hear a pitchy sound that did not last long.Keyboard is comfortable, battery life maybe is not the best, but after initial full charge my swift laptop worked hard for more than 7 hours doing downloads and installations of quite a few software pieces (Chrome browser for instance), and battery still was above 35% of charge.The real surprise was a total absence of bloat software from Acer, just a small utility that is responsible for computer's health, really small and not intrusive at allIn whole, I did not find anything to complain and a lots of satisfaction from this swift and qute laptop.

Received laptop and Dead on Arrival! Never order again! Black screen.

When starting, one of my cats jumped on the keyboard and it went into airplane mode and i couldn't access settings. Didn't start working again until I was wiping it down to return.I'm not happy that this isn't a touch screen and don't know if I add a touch screen driver, will it work?Calling customer support on Monday.

This laptop arrived well packaged and easily setup using the instructions. After 3 weeks without any issues the wifi stopped working. At first I thought the wifi adapter was faulty, and started a return through Amazon. I contacted customer support and within 5 minutes the specialist found the error was with the software. This quick and accurate level of support enabled me to keep my favorite laptop.
