Q: What is the difference between this and the regular (non-basic) dohm machine?

Q: The button on mine is broken. Can I get a replacement?

On Marpac Dohm's website, I located a customer service chat page. The rep instructed me to submit copies of the receipt and a picture of the serial number found on the bottom of the unit. Within two days of receiving of my the email, MD's service team sent a replacement unit. I returned the original unit using the box and shipping label they provided. All is well that ends well.

Q: All the reviews say that the on/off switch breaks after 1 month of use. Has this been fixed yet?

Sound Machine button was an issue at first but I don't seem to have any issues now. I sometime have to click it on/off a couple of times for it to come on. I'm glad to know I wasn't the only having issues.

Q: How much Electricity does it consume
