Bought this to replace the battery that the product came with......which had no power. This charged up quick and has provided tons of RC car fun.

If you buy this, you'll need a charger from an old cell phone or computer USB port--I don't know how you'd get a USB charging port otherwise; I didn't find any for sale or I would have bought them. My newer cell phone doesn't use USB compatible cables for its charger, so you'd need to get creative to adapt this.Other than a means to charge it, it would have been five stars, it worked well, it charged relatively quickly, and it lasted about 25 minutes in the remote control truck it was used with, only the last 5 minutes were strained. This was about what you'd expect from alkaline batteries, so it was acceptable for a Ni-Cd, they've gotten better than they used to be.After a dozen charges, it started to show it's age a little, maybe 10-20% less charge, nothing unreasonable in my opinion.

I bought this for my grandson for his remote control vehicle that also goes in water. When the batteries that came with the vehicle would run low my grandson would be upset. Now they have this extra set of rechargeable batteries so the fun goes on.

Price was right and should have purchased more!😥
