Works well, though some bugs will get up inside the spring area and that makes it a little tricky to clean. Other than that, this comb is preferred over the combs that come in kits.

Glad these are back in stock. We have four children and wanted another comb for months. Makes a huge difference, super easy to clean this comb.

This comb works. It can be used on dry hair also.

I purchased This comb when there was a break out in my son’s school. I followed the instructions and it did work! It’s durable and built well. I’m not sure it does anything different than a regular nit comb, it’s a little bulky in my opinion. However, I do Use this to part his hair when doing his braids every night and it works like a charm.

This comb is very efficient in removing nits, even on fine hair. It’s the best comb I’ve used and having three daughters I have used a lot of lice combs over the years. It opens super easily and all you need to do is bang it on a plate or a hard surface and the little suckers just fall right off of it. If one or two sticks to the comb I just take a wet paper towel and wipe it off. Make sure to wipe it off with every single sweep of the comb so you don’t end up putting the nits back into the hair. I don’t use any of the over-the-counter medications as lice these days have built a tolerance to those medications. I use A very high quality tea tree oil (organic oils are usually stronger) mixed with conditioner and leave it on for about 30 minutes. I make sure the mixture is very very strong with tea tree oil. For about one cup of conditioner I end up putting about 10 or more tablespoons of tea tree oil. I always do a smell test before using and if it doesn’t have a very strong tea tree oil smell I will add more tea tree oil to the solution. This always kills the bugs in one shot. Can I go over it with the comb and get as many of the nets out as I can. Then I go through the Hair by hand looking for any that I may have missed. And every three days I use the tea tree oil treatment again. I always use the tea tree oil before using the comb so I don’t irritate my kids scalp before using the tea tree oil. I continuously come out to Hair every day, do the tea tree oil treatment every three days and I continue this for about two weeks. it is a lot of work but I always completely eliminate them within those two weeks. If you don’t get them all within those first two weeks the infestation will grow again and you will think your kid got lice again but really, it’s just continuing from the time when you didn’t completely eliminate them.With the tea tree oil treatment you may hear your kids say their head burns at first. But it’s not really actually burning. It feels more like menthol. But if it is burning so much that they can’t take it then you probably have too much tea tree oil because it really shouldn’t actually burn. But they should feel the menthol sensation and if they don’t feel that there’s not enough tea tree oil.

My little one was starting preschool soon, and I decided to take precautionary measures and buy shampoo, deterrent sprays, a good comb- the whole nine yards, just as a precautionary measure to have on hand ahead of time, because there has been outbreaks in the schools. Sadly, this comb didn't work out for me. BUT customer service reached out to me, the actual inventor of the comb, and was so polite professional and courteous and made my experience with the product right. I'm sorry it didn't work out for me, but that doesn't mean it won't for you.
