Clearly Basics T.L.C Essence, Minimize appearance of pores and brighten skin, AHA, BHA and Niacinamide based serum

I find the acids in BHA and AHA really help make your skin look brighter and helps with pores and fine lines. This product seemed to work well.

This is by no means a miracle product (is there such a thing though?) but it's a decent exfoliating serum for those with sensitive skin. It's a milder serum, and doesn't cause any redness or drying for me. For those saying they wish it was more moisturizing, they need to understand that that is not the purpose of a BHA/AHA serum. This should be applied at night a few times a week to help slough off the top layer of skin cells, which helps avoid clogged pores/breakouts, and diminishes dark spots and reveals brighter skin.

Wife liked at first, seems to work alright. Then she found the bottle leaking all over. Doesn't seem to secure well. Not recommended.

Update:I took a break from using this for a couple of weeks and I just used it again last night. Today I had someone comment on how red my face was. I used one drop, if not less, for each cheek area. Both cheeks are red and maybe even a little puffy, like they've been gently burned. I didn't go out in the sun at all. I applied the same amount as I always have. I've never noticed this reaction before but I'm not a fan. Throwing it out.Original Review:I haven't been using this product for long, but so far so good. Things to note:- It has a faint scent, something like alcohol or nail polish remover. Personally, I don't mind it. It fades quickly.- Consistency is reminiscent of water, but this product comes with a dropper and only recommends 2-3 drops per application; the consistency isn't a problem so long as you are careful.- I haven't noticed significant results. To be fair, I haven't been using this product for a long time. I will update my review as I go.- I haven't noticed any negative effects. No redness, breakouts, or rashes. I've noticed a mild dryness but nothing severe.- Packaging is completely average. It didn't blow me away but it's not ugly either.- If it does what it claims to do, then the $33 price point is fair. This is a small bottle, but you only need 2-3 drops per application, so I'm sure it will last me a while.
