small box, big sound
This is an AC powered, speaker with sub woofer and radio. This not a self-powered unit. That is, it doesn’t have a rechargeable battery in it. This does appear to have stereo but both speakers are in the one unit. With the sub woofer, it’s good to put on the floor and it will fill the room with a rich sound. It packs a punch for such a small size. It’s not going to rattle the windows but it’s loud enough to listen to music with volume to spare. The depth and quality of the sound that comes out of this is like a larger stereo that cost much more. The highs and lows are there. It makes music you’ve heard before seem like new songs. It has great bass but not the boom, boom, boom overpowering that you sometimes hear. It does have BT and pairs quite easily with a phone. It also has an AUX feature, radio and an SD card slot. The kicker is this thing has a full featured remote. This works well by its self. I thought that being a single unit that the stereo sound would be lacking. But it has a spacial sound as if two speakers are spaced out. It does have the open speakers on the front and no grill to cover those. That could be a problem if someone bumps into it or otherwise hits it. But this has great sound and far greater than I was expecting for fifty bucks.

Seriously, These things are AWESOME!!’
I purchased 4 of these little monsters. I have them connected to Echo Dots in each Room of my home with an Echo Show in the center of the home accenting them perfectly. The little sub woofers have amazing low end quality even when cranked to full and the tweeters sound great. Some of the customers have claimed that these units are mono. This is absolutely not true. They are left and right, just lay them on their side and abracadabra, left and right. If you do not believe me simply pull the included MiniAudio adapter a 1/4 inch out of the controlling device and watch one of the tweeters cut out. Back to business, These are the best $35 speakers out there. The remote controls leave a bit to be desired, the number pad is set up with 4 digits per row rather than the STANDARD 3 digits per row which just makes my head throb. I assure you that is the only shortcoming of these devices. They will not replace a head unit and tower speakers but holy crap, I will crank them rather than the stereo especially with the voice controls of the Echo devices that I have them connected to. It is stifling to be a room away and hear the crisp bass and treble coming from these speakers. My conclusion, Buy a full 4 pack of these things and wait by the mailbox for them to come. Buy them for your friends. Buy them for your enemies and make new friends. Ignore the negative reviews, only a fool purchases a speaker and cranks up Dr. Dre to full volume without expecting to blow a cone out of a speaker!! If you take care of it and do not throw it in the trunk of your car like trash it will work every time you turn it on!! Of course there is a hum when you leave it cranked to full with no audio input, is this your first stereo kid? Most importantly, do not be afraid of the price point. These portable stereos are worth their weight in gold!!

Get 1-2 extra batteries.
Great 😊 buy for the price The bass don't hit as hard as I would like. But still is a great purchase. It has clear vocals and picks up most of the radio channels

This thing packs a punch!
I purchased this because I wanted something to hook to an aging PC in my hobby room. I own quite a few sound bars and a full fledge amplified stereo in my living room. This thing sounds better than my Harmon K on my master PC and the same brand on the sound bar in my bedroom. Follow the rules and place a bass producing device in a CORNER of a room and you will be shocked at the bang for the buck. It can’t compete with the $$$$ living room stereo but you get the idea.

Good sound for the price, but a couple of things keep it from being a great product.
Rockville RHB70 Home Theater Compact Powered Speaker System w Bluetooth/USB/FM I stumbled upon this speaker system while searching for an alternative to a soundbar for a TV in my office. I was drawn in by the price and the input options (and it comes with a remote), so I figured I'd give it a try. After about a week, these are my thoughts: The Good: - Decent sound for the price - Variety of source/sound input options (Auxiliary, Bluetooth, FM tuner, SD card, USB) - Easy BT connectivity - Fast (free!) shipping from seller The Not-So-Good: - The FM tuner presets. There is no way to input your own favorites in the station preset slots. The only way to add presets is to hit the scan button and the tuner goes along the entire FM spectrum and it adds stations that it finds into the available preset slots. That defeats the purpose of having your favorite stations in the preset slots because they would be taken up by a bunch of stations you don't listen to. Granted, there are plenty of slots, but it would be nice to have your favorites or most listened to slots up front and grouped together. - The color. Perhaps if it was offered in a couple of other color options including, oh, I don't know… perhaps… BLACK? Unless your home decor is Steampunk themed, the copper color of the speaker unit sticks out like a sore thumb. It's safe to assume that most home electronics are black and having something not visually stand out would be cool. - The Bluetooth connectivity chime is LOUD! Every time I connect a BT device to the speaker, a loud chime rings indicating a successful connection and there seems to be no way to lower the volume of the chime. So, be careful when going BT with this speaker with a sleeping baby around. All in all, it's good sounding speaker system for its price point. I'd recommend it more enthusiastically if some quirky things were addressed.

I love it. I would recommend it to anybody in a small room 16 x 16 or maybe bigger
I got it. I’ve been listening to it. It is wonderful everything it says it’ll do. It’ll do. It’s good looking it’s quality made. If it’s almost anywhere in your home in the sound is this the greatest sound I’ve ever seen. I see you small box. I love it.

Fine sounding lightweight & easy to carry, cannot be charged but if this doesn't matter, it's a good buy. I do find it makes a noticeable sound when switching modes, minor st back... Overall glad to own...

Actually pretty amazing for the price ! Sound is far better than expected. Only issue is a lot of snapping noise when changing modes but you can get by that by turning volume down first. Well worth the price.
