I have owned this coccon for nearly two years now. I can testify to the quality of materials and construction. Once or twice, late at night slipping back into my hammock, or rather over it, I found myself resting in the bottom of my cocoon instead. It still shows no signs of wear and suffered no significant damage from the few times it held my entire weight. There is a handy pocket on the inside for storage, and it travels well inside of it's attached pocket similar to the hammocks by hammock bliss. This thing most importantly, is absolutely bug proof. No more wrestling with mosquitos, and crawlers. You will rest assured and comfortable knowing no uninvited guests will come along and crash your party. Finally it is also roomy and accomidating for any size user.

The media could not be loaded. The perfect companion to the Hammock Bliss Sky Bed or any hammock for that matter. The bug net weighs 478 grams which is 16.85 ounces. That's a small price to pay for the comfort of not having bugs flying in your ears, biting you all over, crawling all over you, etc... horrible little things.This netting completely takes care of those pesky things. The netting hangs below the hammock to prevent bugs from biting through your hammock too. It's pretty easy to set up and run your hammock through. The ropes on top keeps the netting away from your body and there's an internal pocket to stash your head lamp or whatever you need close.I purchased this separately so in the summertime I can bring this with me and in the winter when bugs are not a concern I can leave it at home.Awesome bug net!

By the time I'm writing this review, I've used the net four times. Every time I've woken up bug free, but every time I've constantly woken up in the middle of the night because the net is right on my face.It comes with dinky strings to hold up the top of the net, which have fallen every time I put them up, and it doesn't come with instructions to help the Novice (me).

I love using my hammock during every season. I especially love camping or napping with it during the summer. Unfortunately, I live in the South where there is an abundance of mosquitos and no-see-ums. I remember waking up one summer morning with every square inch of my skin covered in bites. It has been cold out, so I can't really attest to its effectiveness yet. However, I use an ENO single nest hammock and this mosquito net fits it well. The mesh is very fine, so I have no doubt that it will keep the bugs out. Overall, it seems like a very high quality product, but it is much cheaper than mosquito nets made by other brands (like ENO).

Got this to use in conjunction with Serac Sequoia XL Wide Double Hammock with Ripstop Nylon and Quick-Hang Suspension System, Snowmelt Grey/Teal and they work fine with each other. This has a couple inside pockets on each end on one side that may be good enough to hold a phone or small book, but shoes are too heavy; the pockets are above your head level. I wish the bag had a sewn in molle strap for easily attaching to the outside of a backpack. The label has a nylon strap material sewn around it that appears almost like you can add/slip your own over it like a pocket with clear cover, but you cannot. I wish the white logo wasn't so bright. Luckily for me it does block out a lot of the brightness of the hammock as I prefer neutral colors. I suspect the holes per inch are not as good as they say, but are smaller than the holes on a window/door screen. I have not had any gnats or other bug enter. Do know that this will allow wind to pass through, but does add heat overall, so you'll be more cool if you do not use this. Lastly, I wish the instructions were sewn into a fabric tab rather than on a card for us that forget year to year when occasionally using.

Great net to hang around hammock! Easily slides over hammock and cinches on each end. Perfectly keeps mosquitos and any other creepy crawlies away. The net is so large it doesn't ever really touch you any place so no opportunity for anything to bit you through it. Easy to tie to the same trees as your hammock or to suspend from your ridgeline with included top loops. Easy large opening zips with double zippers to make middle of the night bathroom trips low hassle. Love the handy pockets for flashlight etc.

Damn it! The zipper and pouch are placed right at the highest foot traffic spot. Stepped on the zipper (youch.!). Tore out the netting at the zipper and stripped the zipper itself. Closed the zipper from the top and the top zipper ran right off the track at the hole at the bottom. AT LEAST DO HEAVY REINFORCEMENT OF THE BOTTOM OF THE ZIPPER, you guys!!!

Easy to use but after the third time using it the zipper broke (where the two sides of the zipper come together at the bottom of the net). I was able to get it working again, but it came apart again the next time I used it.

This bug net is one of the best outdoor gear buys I have made. It is very easy to install. It is large enough for a double hammock. It contains pouches on the inside to store easy access gear (ear plugs, headlamp). The zipper entrance makes it easy to enter and exit your hammock. Most of all, the mesh netting has kept bugs at bay all night and God knows there are lots of flies in northern Quebec. Would reccomend!** Will update on the durability of the item**
