Mechanical Combination Lock

This is quality lock and represents excellent value for money. I did make a mistake during installation which required a replacement part to be sent. Bigking-UK responded to my query on availability of spare parts within 12 hours and offered to send a replacement free of charge. I wish all companies could offer this level of quality and service. I would have no hesitation in buying again

Product appears fine. Instructions not so good as some of the expression used are confusing. With a bit of engineering knowledge all could be worked out. Not clear how many digits needed in the code. Worked with 4.

This was perfect for our garden gate, easy to install and use.

All looks good on arrival. sturdy heavy materials. No code is supplied as mentioned in unstructions. Lock turns freely with no pass keys set but will no work with any of the keys turned inwards. A lot of time wasted trying to figure out and now have to return for refund as faulty!!! frustrating.

I was surprised as others when reading some of the reviews. The template is a bit confusing, as it tells to drill 4 holes for the spindle, which is incorrect, but other than that, was very easy to install and does the job very well for our garden gate. Just twist the numbered and Y pins in to set the number for the code and you're golden!

Good quality, and better security than I expected for the price. Slightly awkward to use, and it did take longer to fit than I expected, but now it’s done it’s great ! Nice and solid lock, and all the functions you need to keep your garden secure

Ignore all the other reviews about “no code in the box”?? There isn’t suppose to be any code supplied with this lock because it is sent “UNCODED” so you can enter your own code. Amazing lock, very simple and great quality. I Almost didnt buy this lock because of some of the one star reviews left buy previous buyers who clearly cant read simple instructions. The instructions are amazing, simple and the lock is also simple to setup and use. Hope this coding video I left helps others buy this great lock. UPDATE: Alittle annoyed that the lock isnt threaded for the bolts which holds it together? Luckily im a mechanic and own a tap, so had to tap my own threads, for anyone trying to fit this at home this would make it very annoying to do, yes the bolts will kind of cut their own thread but not successfully. So iv reduced my star rating from 5 to 3 for this.

This does exactly what other keycode locks do, but at almost half the price. The instructions do leave a lot to be desired and can be confusing. The lock arrived without any combination being set. So despite the instructions referring you to a 'card' containing the supplied combination, there isn't one. Any code can also be ascertained by looking at the back of the keypad. Any tumblers turned 'inwards' mean that key must be pressed in order to unlock. There is no 'Order' to the keys, you just need to press all the combination keys followed by the 'C' key. Then the lock will turn in both directions indicating it is unlocks. Once turned it will lock again (although you can change this behaviour as detailed in the instructions) With your code setup, you just need to cut the screws and lock bar to the correct length. Drill 3 holes and screw it altogether. Done.
