Works as advertised
The cable arrived well-packaged and included a small guide, which was a nice touch. I’ve tested it with several devices, including the AVer USB PTZ Camera (USB 3.1 Gen 1), Huddly camera, and Lenovo 4K Pro webcam. It worked flawlessly across all of them with no connectivity or performance issues. My only concern is the connector size; it’s noticeably larger than traditional passive USB-C cables, especially those under 3 meters in length. Depending on your setup, this could cause the cable to wiggle or come loose slightly, so it’s something to keep in mind if you're using it in a tight or mobile configuration. Overall, it’s a solid cable that delivers on performance and compatibility. Just be aware of the connector size if your use case demands a snug fit.

Great product
I needed a long run to connect a backup drive 30 feet from my Mac, and was skeptical until I realized it's a fiber optic cable with built-in ICs, designed for extended distances. That gave me hope, so I took the plunge. When it arrived, I was genuinely impressed. The build quality is gsolid, heavy, and meticulously finished, even down to protective caps on the connectors. It feels premium and well worth the price. Performance matched expectations: over 10 Gbps speed with smooth, issue-free backups. While long-term reliability remains to be seen, I’m confident this cable will last. For long-distance USB-C backups, this cable delivered excellent value. I'd buy it again without hesitation and probably will, as I reconfigure my office setup. Highly recommended.

Doesn't work when connected to a usb hub/switch
This is the second optical usb cable I tried and neither worked as advertised. I needed a longer usb cable to connect a couple of HID to my computer. The devices HIDs , keyboard/mouse/10 key pad so none are high demand item and are perfectly happy with USB 2.0, 3.0, 3.1. The HIDs are connected to a locally powered hub/usb switch so power is not the issue. Once worked with a single device but not with the hub in line. I tried this directly and also via a 10 ft usb cable (usb c-c a-c) and both work fine. I also have it working via a cable creations 16 ft cable and that works fine but it doesn't work with the fiber usb cable. So something with these cable wont allow a hub on the "device" end.

High quality cable that connects backup drives over long distances
Honestly, I had low expectations for this cable when I purchased it. I was looking for a very long USB cable that would allow me to place a backup disk drive about 30 feet away from my Mac in a cabinet. Because USB cables typically have length limitations much shorter than 30 feet, I was skeptical about this cable length of nearly 50 feet -- and it was one of the shorter lengths offered. Then, I noticed that this is actually a fiber cable with modems at both ends, meaning this cable can go for some pretty extended distances as it is no longer bound by the electrical limitations of USB-C. So I purchased it with crossed fingers. Up receiving it, I was quite surprised. The build quality is absolutely superb. In fact, I think this is the highest quality cable in my entire cable inventory, based upon fit and finish. This cable is heavy, stout, solidly constructed, and oozes with quality. They even ship it with removable plastic covers over the USB connectors. Just holding the thing, I get a sense that I received value for the high price paid. Upon trying the cable over the distance, I found that it performed at the promised rate (> 10 Gbps) and that my backups were progressing very well and without issue. I can't speak to reliability yet, but I fully expect to get a good and long life out of this investment. For my use case (long distance USB-C run for disk backup), I received great value for the high price of the cable. I'd buy it again in a flash, and likely will given that I've got a couple of other long runs that I need to make as I continue to shuffle equipment around my office. Great stuff. Five stars!

It works with a PS5 controller 30' away.
Bought it on a whim to utilize my PS5 controller with my PC while 30 feet away. It works. I give it five stars bc it does whay it needs to albeit the price is a bit steep. But cheaper cords wouldn't transmit data or charge at that distance.

Long, Fast, and Truly Plug-and-Play
I needed a long USB-C to USB-C cable for connecting a Logitech conference camera across the room, and this one delivered. The 33-foot length is perfect, and the fiber optic design ensures stable high-speed transfer with no signal drop. It worked right away — no adapters, no lag. If you need a reliable long-distance USB-C cable, this is a great pick.

Does not work with Logitech Rally Cameras
Cable does work, does not work with Rally Plus Cameras. Does work with Rally Cameras, just not the 4k Rally Plus as Logitech uses a different protocol forcing you to buy their Rally Tuff cables (which are literally 4x the Price). Knocked a star off for the fact the usbc, while it works, does sits loose in any connect, meaning its not going to stay put (will fall out) if mounted vertically without a bit of tape.

It allows control of my Panasonic GH6 cameras 100' feet from my Laptop.
I bought 3 of these to tether my Panasonic cameras for camera control at 100' from the laptop. They work really well at controlling the settings of the cameras, though they do get hot with 3 of them plugged into a USB-C 3.2 hub. So I bought a small 5" USB fan that really does the job and keeps them cool. They are fiber cables so you have to treat them carefully. We used floor cover channel in our shoot. I used them on a 9 day, 6-8 live streams per day video shoot for our church conference. Being able to control all 3 cameras with Panasonic's Tether software was great. Unfortunately one of the cables quit working half way through the shoot. After the shoot, when I contacted the company, they said that they would replace the cable. What a great company! I now have the new cable and am ready to do more multi camera video shoots.

Cable was received with a bent host end that made burning smells when plugged in to my computer. For the high price they are asking for, the quality does not meet what is being advertised.

Haven't done any extensive testing just yet, but I know I have at LEAST 2.5Gbps of bandwidth(thats about how fas this drive transfers normally if just usb connected to my pc directly, given how steady the transfer speed is id say no doubt you will get the full 10Gbps or close on this cable. I am using it to run a hub in my theater room, so I can connect multiple game controllers or other usb devices to my computer on the 2nd floor, this cable runs through the wall to power my usb 3.1 hub, and is already MILES faster than my usb 2.0 over ethernet that I WAS using. While yes the usb 2.0 over ethernet does work, it's very slow, so anything other than basic game controllers would quickly over populate the line. Worth noting! It did cause a weird issue with a driver conflict on my pc, where it would show devices randomly connecting, then disconnecting and back every few seconds, quick google search to fix it tho, and I'm sure you can too. Build quality seems solid too!

Have used phoossno in the past for fibre optic hdmi and displayport cables, so it was my first option when I needed usb-c and it did not disappoint. Surprisingly it also still had the ability to power devices like a 8bitdo gamepad and StreamDeck+, I had expected to need to inject power. Very happy customer, great work phoossno!
