First off, I looked into alot of different dashcams and looked at alot of videos from them. The high end cameras have a great looking pictures and alot of bells and whistles. Yes they can capture a license plate in the best of conditions. But most of the time they just show what happened. Because of this I decided to get this dashcam and not pay for extra features that I really don't need. I am very pleased with what I got. The video quality is great and it shows what happened when driving. I purchased a 6 foot USB-C to Mini USB cable, (male to male), from Amazon to connect the camera to my tablet for viewing and downloading the videos.Two weeks after installing the camera, one of my Grandkids played with the power adapter and lost the fuse. I emailed DKK and asked for information about the fuse so I could order a couple of them. DKK responded that they would send me them. They sent me two complete power adapters. That was above and beyond what I was expecting. A week ago, when viewing some videos I found some of them were corrupt. Long story short, the camera stopped saving the videos properly. I contacted DKK and after sending a video to them, they are sending a new camera to me. They are doing a great with their customer support and service. I highly recommend this camera.NOTE: I use a tablet running the Android operating system to connect to the camera. Sometimes the "My Files app" dose not see all the video files. I found that going to the settings, (the three stacked dots on the upper right of the screen) and turning on then off the "Show Hidden System Files" selection, that makes all the videos show properly. I didn't know why, but it works.I purchased two dashcams. I mounted the main cameras in the front and rear windows. I then mounted the rear cameras on the frount left and right side windows. I now have videos from all sides of my car for a low price. Purchased a NFHK Mini USB 5pin Male to Female extension cable 150cm (4.92ft) from Amazon for the power to the rear camera. Using the Otium USB C Car Charger, 2 Sockets Cigarette Lighter Splitter from Amazon for the power adapters. The units work great.Update: Hard wired my camers doing away with the cigarette lighter adapters. Used kit from Amazon. Amazing picture quality, easy to install, works great.I have no previous experience installing any device in a vehicle and this was quick and easy. Following directions on set up and installation, it probably took me about ten minutes to set up, mount, tuck the wire in all the way to the back and mount the rear cam. The picture is so much clearer than I expected (better than my ring camera) especially for night vision. I couldn't be happier.

This is a budget priced dash cam with front and rear cameras. I got this dash cam after getting hit by another car, and the other driver denied the responsibility. The first unit that I received did not function properly, I hope that is just a single case. The replacement unit seems fine except for the rear camera.The power cable and rear camera cable are quite long, 12 ft and 18 ft respectively. The front unit can be easily placed on the windshield. The installation of the rear camera requires a bit of work due to the camera placement and the hiding of the cable.The front camera video quality is good during the daytime. The nighttime video is not very clear. The recordings from the rear camera were laggy and blurry initially. And then for no reason, they just became normal after a few days. I am searching online to check whether the rear camera is defective.The dash cam operation is quite simple, once installed, it turns itself on and off with the car. The parking monitor may be useful if the recording duration can be increased to longer.The issues that I have with the rear camera:1. The video recordings sometimes are very laggy.2. When the videos are good, it is still not very well-focused.3. The field of view is not wide enough. I have tried placing the camera at different heights using masking tape, but I can’t get a wide enough shot.This dash cam is okay for the price range. If your budget is limited like mine, I will suggest getting it for basic protection.

Easy to install, easy to use. It relies on an SD card that only saves a couple of hours of footage and deletes the oldest one. Good thing is if you record something important, pressing a button will save the last 15 mins or so separately for you to pull out. Worth it for the price

The media could not be loaded. There are two different versions of this product floating around. I have purchased 5 of these dashcams and so far only the third one has performed as working. I needed two dashcams for both of our cars. The other 4 have exhibited a poor capture quality when recording, ie lower refresh rate/frame rate. It makes the footage look as if it is skipping, degraded and even looks like the speed of the video ramps up and down. In addtion, differences in the settings menu are apparent such as names/features and the firmware version is named/listed differently.Understandably, 'you get what you pay for' as the saying goes, but the problem here is that there is a discrepancy in what customers have received. I should not have to say this, but if a customer pays the same amount for the same product they should not be getting different quality products.I received a recommendation from someone I know to get this dash cam that they purchased over a year ago. To this day it still performs perfectly and as expected, I was able to test the product myself before purchasing my own. However, after purchasing the same product from the same manufacturers I was met with a vastly different product and quality. This is not a mistake of user settings, or incorrect shared product link (it was shared from their order list on Amazon) but rather that I assume the manufacturers have cut the quality control on their product after achieving a high user rating.
