The best product for canine senility
This product has really helped my old dogs. I had a 16 year old dachshund that I had been keeping going and going and going with various natural and alternative and homeopathic remedies (she had Cushings Disease and multiple other health issues normal and usual for a dog that old). When she started manifesting Canine Dysfunction Syndrome, where she would walk in circles like she was lost, get stuck facing a corner just standing there, lost, it was really breaking my heart. I tried another product here on Amazon for this, and it helped, but was expensive. This product is sold by several different vendors I believe, and one of them sold it for a GREAT price. I ordered that one. When I finished giving the other, more expensive product, I started this one. I noticed an improvement very very soon. I kept my dog on it until she passed in June this year, at the ripe old age of 16 years and 9 months. During the entire time that I had her on this product - Cholodin Canine Chewables, she never once manifested senility. About 2 months after she passed, I noticed one of my other dachshunds start to manifest some of the senility symptoms that I had seen in my other dog before she got really bad, so as I still have 2 twelve year old dachshunds at home who are growing old together, I put them both on this product that I had left over. I noticed that the mild symptoms in the one dog disappeared and he went back to his usual mental alertness. So although they are both still manifesting the usual physical aspects of getting old, they are not losing them mental acuity. I will definitely be ordering more.

Working well for my senior pup
I started giving this to my beautiful beagle mix after reading a random review from someone who had great results (similar situation to my dog). My sweet girl is 13 now and started having some kidney issues. The vet said early stage renal disease but that was also when she had a raging kidney infection so I don't know how accurate that diagnosis was. Nevertheless, the vet wanted her switched immediately to a kidney care diet plan. My picky eater wouldn't hardly touch any of the Rx dog food. I ended up switching her to Dr Harvey's ("miracle" formula food) and it's been absolutely amazing. I started adding the Cholodin to her food, crushed up, and she happily eats the entire meal. I also put her on omega 3s and senior dog vitamins. The Cholodin seems to have especially helped with what seemed to be brain fog. Possibly some doggie dementia, I'm not sure, but she wasn't as sharp. Now, she's like done a complete 180. She RUNS again. She's able to jump onto the sofa again. She's extremely alert and protective of our home. Before the diet change and adding in Cholodin, vitamins and omega 3s, she was acting old, sluggish, and looking like she'd lost the will to live. I really believe these changes have given my baby a second chance. The Dr Harvey's you can order a free sample of (just pay $3.99 shipping) to see if your dog will like it, and there are several different types they offer. She gets the one called "miracle" and I limit her protein intake. Protein is hard on their kidneys apparently, I didn't know that beforehand. Anyway just sharing the info in case someone else needs encouragement. Don't give up!

Mean Chihuahua is back!
Edit 4/2022 Dog is 9 lbs. Still using Cholodin, reduced dosage to 1/4 pill per day. Also started using tiny amount of FERA Hip and joint (may give dog the runs), plus Ester C for dogs/ by Holistic pet organics 1/4 scoop. For those thinking of using Cholodin and Senilife, there is a post advising against it, so use one or the other. Without doubt Cholodin Is improving my dog’s vitality and sensory function. Thanks to other reviews I tried this supplement for my dog that started exhibiting age related symptoms, like long naps, lack of energy and frequent barking for no reason. Her mood improved, she got her mean streak back and the barking has diminished. She’s also lost her hearing, got some benign tumor, so the barking could be a side effect or her way of communicating. I give her 1/2 tablet crushed in her wet food and she weighs 9 lbs. and doesn’t take any other vitamins as I had no luck with a brand that is palatable to her. These vitamins have made a great impact in my dog’s quality of life.

Suprised
I have a 15 year old Springer and he seemed like he was confused and not sure where he was when he would wake up. On top of that he was having accidents in the house (something he never ever had in his life) he also acted like he didn't know who we were sometimes. In short all the signs of senility. At first we had to drop back to 1/2 tablet a day as he seemed a bit agitated and after about a week we went to a full tablet a day. WOW what a difference! He is like our old buddy. Sharp as a tack and full of energy or at least as much as you can expect from a 15 plus year old Springer. Also you should look into the clear eyes for cataracts if your dog has them, those drops are amazing and really have helped our once almost blind dog to see fairly well again and the white cloudy look in his eyes are almost gone. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH THE VETS? Research before you let the vet tell you nothing can be done for your dog. PS the price is right too!
