Pondering while you and stare at the steak, realizing the missed steaks that you’ve ended up eating, being that a 50/50 chance of either it was cooked at the wrong temp or turning into Dracula and basking in a flavor country of juices. Well my friends, this device has saved my life but it too has its benefits of informing me where I need to be in life and how I want my steaks to be at. What if you don’t like beef? How about fish, duck, pork, lamb, and chicken. It’s got you covered. Bruh. Where can it be used while cooking? Easy, the grill, the stovetop frying pan, and even in the oven/broiler. But wait there’s more! You gotta activate it first by using its simple activation tool with the power of magnets. Literally it’s super simple.

The simplicity and accuracy of this device makes it great.The packaging and presentation of the SteakChamp Thermometer is clean and eye catching. It was very easy to use straight out of the box. Quickly activated the thermometer by following the instructions in the booklet and inserted it inside the beautiful Filet Cut.Did a quick sear on both sides and turned the heat down to let the SteakChamp do its job. Within minutes & a couple flips of the steak, the YELLOW did a double flash and I knew the perfect temp (Medium) was approaching. It can be used for Steak, Chicken, and Fish!Definitely recommend to anyone and everyone that wants to achieve the perfect temperature on your steak!

I guess the product is ok for pan frying but when used in oven or broiler, you don't really know when to take out the meat unless your looking at it the whole time, buy the time the light changes to you might have missed your time window when to remove the steak. I ended up with a lot of medium well and well done steaks. Also bought 2 and first one didn't work at all, missed my window to return, I'm going to purchase one that either beeps or syncs to phone to let know when internal temperature is reached.

I used it maybe 3 times and it stopped working.1 time was in a charcoal BBQ setting and 2 times was with an tefal optigrill on manual mode.I tried to use it recently and it does not start up anymore when I tried to prime it.I did an experiment and heated it up on my stove for a short while and it was able to prime.Today, even heating it up a little doesn't work anymore.--- update dec 19----After I got hold to TEC USA, they were friendly and replaced my unit immediately. No questions asked. The after sales service was prompt and great, and now it's all good.

It seems to work great! Not a fan of having to check on it for the lights which at times gets difficult to see through an oven door but it does make sure I do not overdo the steak. I tried other Bluetooth wireless probes that connect to your phone and absolutely hated it because the range is poor when inside an over or on the grill. For now, until a better Bluetooth probe comes along I would strongly recommend this

It was nice when it worked... but that was for only 2 months. Looked up if I could replace the battery and it states you cannot. What a ripoff for 2 months of use and outside the return window.

This is an amazing tool. It works perfectly and I am the kind of person who does not trust stuff life this. I almost wish I could get 2 but that would be too much.I have a weber grill and it works; I even tried it in the smoker and it worked good. It is accurate and I love the colors so no trying to see the temperature at night or anything,
