Atalanta

This is probably my favorite book ever. I love the way it weaves together the story of Atalanta and the quest for the Golden Fleece. It showcases the titular main protagonist as someone strong and unwilling to just stand there and let herself be bullied (not even by Centaurs).Jennifer Saint created a stunning and yet short book that I recommend to anyone I can.

Interesting retelling of the Argonauts myth from a new point of view

We often hear only part of a story about a mythological figure. This book begins with the abandon of Atalanta at birth and tells her whole story. It's fascinating.

Beautiful words woven together carefully to tell the story of a young heroine trying to find her own way in a male dominated world.

Loved this so much, every part of it - from Jennifer’s writing style, to the flow of the story and how the characters were developed. Very happy that I’ve discovered Jennifer Saint :)
