This book has been a great way to keep my child learning during the summer without feeling overwhelmed. It’s under 150 pages, so it’s not intimidating, and the layout makes it easy to do just one page a day. Each page introduces a new short story with comprehension questions. The short daily stories fit perfectly into our summer routine, and my child enjoys the variety. It’s also a great way for me to see what they’ll be learning next year. If you’re looking for a simple, effective way to keep your child’s mind sharp and ready for the next school year, this book is a fantastic choice. I highly recommend it for summer break or even as a refresher during the school year.- I liked it so much I purchased a math book as well.

My son was a bit behind in his 4th grade class so we ordered the 3rd grade reading book and now he is feeling more confident! He’s reading easier and I think taking that step back is just what he needed! Each chapter of the book is separated into 5 good lessons, we do one a day just to help him! 10/10 I will be buying grade 4 in another few weeks once we finish this book!

Great go to workbook for kids. I use IXL for homeschooling my third grader. I got this book as a supplement because we travel a lot and can't always do lessons on the computer. Not only is it convenient in that aspect but for days I can't work one on one with him he can do this independently which is helpful as well. I love the variety of lessons and that he can reinforce skills he's learning as well. I would recommend to both teachers looking for quick effective lessons and to parents who want to give their child an independent activity that reinforces third grade reading skills.

This resource can be used for multiple ages depending on learning objectives, and what students need. This can be linked to grade level standards as well.

I really like the layout of the spectrum reading workbook each unit gives you a new story with multiple chapters so students actually get to follow a story line instead of starting a new story every day. There are comprehension vocabulary and even writing options. I will be using it for my early finishers in third grade. Best part for me is there’s no extra prep.
