Thank goodness this product is sturdy. The packaging for this product was terrible. They put it in a box that was smaller than the product so the product was sticking out of a hole in the corner of the box. Thankfully the product is sturdy and did not break. It is a pretty rose gold color and does just what it is intended for. Good product but terrible shipping.

This is a sturdy, easy to use wick trimmer. Angled nicely to reach wicks in candle jars, and sharp enough to trim even brand new wicks before burning. Nice, neutral design that's fine to leave out on a counter or shelf if that's handy for you. Smooth, even cutting motion, needs very little, if any, effort.

This wick trimmer is nice to have on hand, but it is quite bulky and awkward to use. As I have gotten more into using candles I thought this would be the perfect thing to get- BUT the angles at which you have to hold it in order to get a good cut are awkward and uncomfortable. I bet this would be a great wick trimmer for someone who knows candles inside and out and has been using wick trimmers their whole life, but for a novice it is not the best. It is solid metal, sturdy, and honestly quite heavy. It's a great quality for the price, but like I said it's cumbersome to use.

I like the weight of it. The curvature enables a closer trim. The round bottom piece catches the loose piece of wick after trimming, so it doesn’t drop back into the candle. This is a solidly brilliant device.

Good quality and when you flip over the sniffer can rest on the handle.

After using this wick dipper, that is all I want to do. Dipping your wick keeps it straight, not bent, and curled up. We use to blow our wicks, but no more. This wick dipper is easy to use, and you won't have that nasty blown wick smell in the house when extinguishing flames.

It isn't made of heavy grade metal, but doesn't seem to need to be. Works just fine in a standard depth candle... probably wouldn't in one of those foot-tall glass cylinder candles, though. I hadn't known about this tool until I happened to see it and order a two-pack. May order additionals.

I've recently fallen deeply in love with scented candles, I adore mine and I wanted to take good care of them. The next step for me, after reading up on the topic, was to buy this product (my Dealglad wick trimmers) to trim my wicks.This is my first time using candle trimmers but I am more than impressed. It's so simple to use and works like a charm. No guesswork, they trim the wick to the exact right size each and every time time. And the curvature of them makes it each to get down into the candle jar as the wax gets lower and lower. This product is very pretty too which is plus for me and just makes the whole experience nicer.Hope the photo comes out, but here is my well-loved fall candle (Caramel Pumpkin swirl and my new well-loved Dealglad wick cutter. This is an amazing tool, one I never really though I needed but now can't imagine myself without. I burn candles every single day and if you do not trim the wick before each new lighting it will make you candle not last as long and burn unevenly. These cut wicks so much better and smoother than any regular paid of scissors do, even if you have scissors that are very sharp. They also hold the wick cuttings on it so it's easy to transfer to the garbage and you never have to touch them. Your hands never get dirty. Strong and study, I feel like these will last a lifetime. HIGHLY recommended.

They work decently well and they are sharp enough, but I bought them to be able to cut my longer and thinner candles and I am unable to do so correctly because of the way they are bent. I think this is an issue that all candle wick trimmers have tho, so I still think they worked well despite the fact.

We used this product for its stated purpose as a wick trimmer. It helped keep candles in jars burning evenly since it was shaped well to reach into the jar and perfectly cut the wick.
