Terrific for Guitarists with Sticky Fingers
I perform on guitar or mandolin for two to six hours a day, three days a week. Sometimes my left hand seems to soften the varnish on my instrument neck, then get sticky, so it doesn’t slide on the neck or strings the way it should. This makes playing well much harder. I looked for a product that would let my hand and fingers slide but wouldn’t be oily. Gymnastic and climbing chalk is meant to prevent sticking of skin to surfaces but also to prevent slipping, so it wasn’t ideal. Corn starch turns into gravy in the presence of sweat.I don’t know what this product is, but it works great. I put the little bag in a ziploc sandwich bag and keep it in my guitar and mandolin cases. When I’m playing, I open the bag and set it beside my chair. If I find My hand starting to stick, I simply stick my hand into the ziploc bag, grab the little cloth bag of powder, let go, and pull my hand out. That’s all it takes. I don’t need to rub my hands together or rub off the white powder. This morning I used it, and my sticky hand became dry and slippery, and I played for two hours with perfect smoothness. I washed my hands with soap when I got home, but three hours later, my hand is still slippery but dry. Fantastic!I do recommend that you be careful with this. I don’t know what the powder is, but if it is some sort of powdered rock, there could be health problems if you aren’t careful. Don’t breath in the dust or lick your fingers, and wash your hands when you are done. Keep it away from interior body parts. This little bag is enough for hundreds of proper applications. Don’t shake it out or cover your hands with it. It’s not necessary.I suppose this could potentially leave some dust on your guitar. Wiping off your strings after playing with a cloth would be a good idea. However, it’s probably less bad for your guitar neck than some spray oil or silicone spray. I used some of this with my mandolin yesterday, and the neck still feels dry and slick.

Great for synthetic lanes!
I bowl candlepin and my bowling center has wood and synthetic lanes. My league gets stuck on the synthetic lanes every week and it’s often where they send families to play when there are no leagues. For those of you that know, families don’t tend to pay attention to rules like no food or drinks near the lanes. Well, these synthetic lanes get sticky on the approach, usually from the breaking of these rules. Due to the limited time between open play and league, the bowling center doesn’t have time to clean the approaches.I often stick on these approaches and have even fallen forward from this. Now, I have shoes with interchangeable soles to help with the slide and even while wearing the best slide sole, I still stick. I found Perfect Slide on here and decided to try it. It’s a powder in a bag and I usually apply it to my soles of my bowling shoes. Since, I bought this product, I no longer have any issues. It works as expected. Warning though: be sure to towel off your hands after using it to prevent the slipping out of your hands.

works good
I got this to use on my bowling league. Works well and helps my thumb to not stick in the ball. Sometimes my fingers will swell during bowling and this helps to not stick in the holes.

Slide off
Good product. A bit pricey

Top bowling powder
I’ve tried other bowling slide powders, but they don’t work as well. These don’t make a huge mess and allow my thumb to release from the ball. Each bag lasts a long time.

A staple for every bowler
This works well to keep your thumb from sticking. Can work to help slide foot but isn’t recommended since it can’t make other bowler slip.
