Glossify Customizable Color Gloss, Ash Brown

I'm so happy I found this product! I've used it several times now and it works wonders. My hair color is naturally a medium ash brown and it's hard to find a good store bought ash color that doesn't get brassy. I'd never used a gloss like this and, not only did the color come out perfectly, it was much easier on my hair, which is usually pretty thin and fragile. My hair looks and feels so much stronger and smoother. It has so much shine and it's so soft that I keep petting my head. It completely neutralizes the red and the color lasts maybe 6-8 weeks before I feel like I need to apply it again (I wash my hair every other day to every 2 days). I also like the versatility of selecting for a wet or dry application to get a more or less intense color. I've always done a dry application and leave it on for 25min. I'm very satisfied with the results, which is what you see in the pic. So shiny! And, finally, a proper ash color that doesn't get brassy, it just dulls after many weeks of shampooing. I definitely recommend this.

I bought this product because I had last used it in 2022 and liked it. I had saved my old box so I would know what to order. I just received the new box, and the safety seals looked really dirty. I compared the lot numbers, and the old box was much newer than the new box. I called Schwarzkopf, and the nice lady told me that this product has been discontinued, and the new box is from 2020! She said that you shouldn't use a hair coloring product that is over 3 years old, and advised me not to use it. She said the results could be undesired. This in a non-returnable product due to "hazmat safety reasons", and when I tried to do a return/refund online, it wouldn't do it, and I had to call Amazon. I requested that I be refunded for this product for the reasons I gave above. There are a number of reviews stating that the product gave them green hair, green brown hair, and there's no way I'm putting this on my head!

Easy to use. Definitely adds a nice sheen to your hair

My natural hair color is a dirty blonde. I use a medium ash brown hair dye to color my hair. After a while though, my hair becomes brassy (hints of red). I have been experimenting with at home hair glosses. This gloss is amazing. I am so happy that I found something that works.

Didn't do anything bad to my hair but didn't "glossify" it either. Looked exactly the same, no added shine or anything it didn't even feel softer which is sad cuz my daily conditioner does THAT!
