Sufix Superior Leader 110-Yards Leader Wheel Fishing Line (Clear, 100-Pound)

This line is very strong. I used it to sew up my porch swing where it was loose and it is working great. I have also used it as a trellis from the ground up to the ceiling of the porch and the knots hold really well. The line is not very visible from the yard but the hummingbirds can see it just fine. It would be great for a big fish but it seems like deep sea fishing line to me. Price was ok for what I want to use it for!

I use heavy line for tying up deep drop shot rigs for red snapper and grouper. We quit using crimps because they failed occasionally, resulting in the loss of valuable fish. Even a double line rig is 6 knots, so heavy line that is easy to work with in making 3 and 4 wrap cinch knots is important. This 100 pound line has that flexibility and doesn’t wear you out aligning and tightening the knots. Pix shows clean, tight knot with 100 pound line.

This 100 lb line has worked great for hanging a shade cover in my backyard. The shade cover (6x35) is attached to the house on one side and attached to trees with this line on the other side. The trees are 25, 35, 35, and 45 feet away using the line. In full sun all summer this line has stood up. At stress points (tie points) it breaks eventually and I string a new line from this roll. I have had wind and storms slam my shade cover and it holds well - again unless it has weakened at a stress point. I am leaving this review as I am here ordering more because I bought an additional shade cover and needed more line.

Used this 100 lb test for my shade sail (also purchased on Amazon) and it works great. Line is nearly invisible and is strong enough to keep the sail secured in some pretty strong winds.
