This works great. I use it to make home made gummies. It does everything it’s suppose to do. Doesn’t flavor it at all. I highly recommend this product.

I bought this as a nutritional suppement for my cats. One of them came to me as a former stray with a long-standing Tritrichomonas infestation; he had lost a lot tof weight, and failed to regain it many months after the the Tritrichomonas was dealt with. When nothing else my vet recommended worked to put weight on him, I decided I was willing to try any promising home/alternative remedy that was 1) easy and inexpensive to obtain; 2) easy to administer, and 3) posed no risk to the cat (even if it failed to help). I was also willing to give it a minimum of 90 days to show some sort of effect--I knew it would take time, and wasn't looking for overnight results.I started dosing him on August 7, and as of today (September 29), I can report that the cat has gained a small but significant amount of weight, his coat condition has improved, and he's more energetic than he was before. Unfortunately, I didn't think to weigh him at the start of this experiment, but he definitely feels less bony when I pet him. He is still very underweight, but it's been less than two months since we started, and for the first time I feel like we're getting somewhere!While I was at it, I decided to give gelatin to the rest of the resident feline horde to see if it made any difference for them. So far, the most dramatic difference has been in a tough-guy ex-tomcat whose coat was always dull; it is now soft and shiny. I've also seen some coat improvements in the other cats.Since gelatin is known to be a useful joint supplement, I imagine I'll just keep using it. It's easy to administer--for each cat, I mix 1/2 t. powder in 3/4 can of wet food, and add a little bit of warm water to loosen it up. They get fed this twice a day, and that's all there is to it. (I have no recommendations for how to use it with dry food, however, as I don't feed my cats kibble.)I have ten cats (yeah, I know), and it looks like a 4-lb jar is going to last me about 90 days. I've only consumed a little of it myself, but I'm very happy with the quality of this product--it has no unpleasant odors or flavors (which I've experienced with Knox in the past). It's doing what I need it to do, and the big jar is economical. I'll update if there are any major changes, but so far, so good.

Works well mixed in cold drinks, sets up well (just like Jell-O) when mixed with very hot water, then chilled. I like that I can make my own chemical and coloring-free low carb desserts (1 cup boiled water, 2 TBSP of this product -mix until dissolved, cool slightly before adding your choice of sweetener and lower sugar mashed berries or lemon or lime juice, and 1 cup Greek Yogurt. Mix well and chill). I like the nutritional profile of beef gelatin, and that it does not impart a beefy taste to my drinks and desserts. Fits well into my meal plan as I'm trying to increase protein.

I am a big believer in collagen and gelatin as part of a healthy diet. Both contain the same amino acids that are needed for healthy bones, joints & skin, as well as everything else in our bodies.Gelatin is like collagen, same make-up, same protein content, the difference is that collagen is hydrolyzed for easier digestion, but gelatin is also partially broken down as well.Bulk gelatin powder like this one from NOW is a lot cheaper than the fancier collagen products and just as effective.Gelatin is great for helping heal joint problems, increasing bone density, improving digestive health and so many other things. I consider it an absolute essential part of my diet and can not imagine not consuming it everyday .I take 1 scoop 2 times a day. I mix it with a tiny amount cold water to "bloom" it, than I add my hot coffee or tea and stir. it dissolves completely. If you do not bloom it, you may have an occasionally chunk that floats and does not mix.This jug easily lasts 3 months and is so affordable. it is the cheapest gelatin I have found. As long as it remains affordable and available, I will purchase this product.

I am glad I found this quality of gelatin at this price. I work in a hospital and we had some visiting Asian physicians for a few months. So many times I heard them recommend to patients to drink a cup of hot jello every night for the rest of their lives. I started. I had GI issues that this has greatly relieved much of the symptoms.I do prefer it hot like an evening soup to keep me full through the night without adding carbs. I mix 3 teaspoons (one tablespoon) in hot water with a bit of bullion for a tasty beef or chicken broth that is relaxing and satisfying. I'm even using a cup or two as a meal replacement when I'm busy. A friend made some hot pepper jelly and I dropped a spoonful of that in the gelatin and hot water...wow..so good. I made egg drop soup and added this for protein, thicknener and collagen. A little broth, gelatin, an egg and a few frozen veggies for color and flavor and lunch is ready in a few minutes in the microwave. It fills me up without excessive cost or calories.My old dog loves that I use beef or chicken stock, gelatin and make stock jello that I chill and cut into cubes for him. He licks them and can eat them easily. I'm going to have to put this on auto ship.

One star off since the bag had a hole in it in the front. Gelatin powder leaked out all over the other 7 items in the box and also leaked out the outer box onto the floor. Kind of a mess. Probably more of an Amazon issue rather than the product itself which seems fine.

Bought this to make gummies for my kids and it worked perfectly! It was a tad expensive, but worth it for the quality. No beefy taste, which my kids were shocked at even though I told them their cherry gummies wouldn't taste like meat.
