OtterBox iPhone 14 Pro Max (ONLY) Defender Series XT Case - Black, screenless, Rugged, Snaps to MagSafe, Lanyard Attachment

Otterbox has given me nothing but peace of mind! Peace of mind that my investment in my phone is well protected! I have always had the Defenders series for all my phones going all the way back to the Iphone 4 and will never buy any other case! They are pricey no doubt (nice discount here on Amazon) but I have happily payed full price in the past because what you get is a solid product figuratively and literally that also feels good in your hand! The Defenders series does add a some heft and weight so of you don’t like a heavy phone Defenders series may not be for you. I prefer that weight because in my daily quick paced life I have less chance of dropping it when on the go. Now I have dropped my phone many times but with the case and the screen protector I bought to go along with it. (SP not included with the case) my phone has come out unscathed every time! This is however my first time experiencing the Mag Safe version of the Defenders case. I was concerned that rubber on the sides and not covering the back would by a trade off in protection for the mag safe feature. Also This version of the Case does not include the holster that comes with the full Defender’s version that is without the mag safe compatibility. I was also concerned that the plastic shell would be flimsy like the plastic shell is for the full Defenders. The full case the rubber is where the true protection is over the shell so the plastic shell is not that strong. But this is where Otterbox’s genius comes into play! The Mag Safe case has a much sturdier plastic shell then its non mag safe counterpart which means Mag Safe version did not sacrifice protection for the sake of the Mag Safe feature! Mag Safe still has the weight and heft to it but is more streamlined and slim. This is still a case that won’t stop your heart the next time you drop your phone! One last note I previously mentioned that this case does not come with the holster that was cool because the holster is no more than $16 but and this is seriously why I love Otterbox the case came with documentation on how to get the holster for up to one year after purchase free of charge just pay for shipping! That was unexpected and a great way to show us the customer that we are valued as customers. Or at least that is what I take from it. All in all Otterbox redesigned their most rugged case without sacrificing protection and it is just as great as it has been for all my previous phones! Second time purchase this case because It does protect well and is sleek looking in black and lightweight. Previous case lasted about 2years before the rubber started decaying and tearing. Overall still a good product.

I'm about to upgrade my 3 year old iPhone 14 Pro Max and am hoping this case is available for my new phone. This case has been nothing short of phenomenal. I always get non-black phones and cases for higher visibility (who wants to quietly misplace $1200 all black devices) so the clear back to show the silver case is a plus. The rubber outer ring is textured for grip but not so bulky it doesn't fit in my pocket. Magsafe case works without issue and honestly, I love the lanyard because I grab it all the time to haul the phone out of my cargo pockets. This phone is my primary work tool and is used hard for outdoor rooftop inspections - yes, it has been dropped and there's even some small cracks in the case, but my phone is protected and undamaged for almost 3 years. Amazing. I love this case.

Its not a cheap material. Its lasting and protects VERY well, better than any case I've ever had. Im not getting another case unless it’s this kind of case! Its comfortable (a bit heavy but that’s my preference!!!) amazing grip and honestly would recommend to anyone who works in hard jobs or just wants a thick case that feels good and makes your phone look bigger and stronger. Its a very modern (simple) design so it doesn’t distract you as much. Keeps you focused on what you are doing on your phone. Beautiful and well designed. Only thing is the installation (its not as easy as other case installations but once you get it done, you never need to take it off again! (Unless for some random reason). I like it keeps my charger port safe. Theres so much I can still say about it but overall it’s my favorite case! Hope you like the review and most of all the new phone case experience!!!

Bought this to use with my bike quad lock phone attachment. It feels super strong and durable when my phone is inside without it being overly big. My phone fitted perfectly. The cord handle is also useful especially when I take it off my bike and I have my hands full. My partner also bought one for his phone as he was so impressed with it.

Kept my phone for 2 years through lots of drops in mint condition, good quality, a little thick but very grippy
