A Book That Takes Its Time: An Unhurried Adventure in Creative Mindfulness (Flow)

This book is very informative, fun, and interactive. I like it so much that I bought another one in the series.

Arrived quickly in excellent condition as advertised. I love all things FLOW. They write very inspirational creative books.

I never review things I buy on Amazon (or any other place for that matter) but I did want to take the time to share a review for this one. I came across this book at Michaels last year, it instantly called my attention, but as many other books I buy I left it untouched in my shelf for a few months. When I picked it back up I had started doing the 5 am club routine and this became my scape space every morning and my favorite activity. It has so many different crafts and readings to increase creativity, reach your inner child and really be able to “enjoy the moment”. This is the third time I’m purchasing it as a gift for my friend. I absolutely loved it and it’s worth every penny if you have the time to spend it on yourself

I’ve gifted this book twice now for friends who lost loved ones recently. They both loved it. I have one for myself that I like just to slow down and focus on something meaningful during my busy days. I love the little projects on the articles, and the postcards which I use, and they pull outs. This is a great gift. Worth every penny.

Great Activity Book With Many Topics. I love all the different activities to keep you active as you progress through the book. I knocked off a star because of the adhesive they used for the "The Joy of One Thing at a Time" notebook found on page 17. I have never seen that clear goopy stuff bleed through paper before but it has here and has damaged the little notebook. This is not a one off on this either. It has done this in others of this same book. They need to fix this I issue and use another temporary adhesive to attach this little notebook.The attachments and other goodies in this book make it come alive and makes you feel happy to start using immediately. There is a lettering section, Soul searching sections, encouragements, spurs you one to write, a self-kindness writing exercise, mindfulness and the list goes on. It has just about everything to get your "juices" going for self discovery and more.

A beautiful book with fun extras that you can interact with. I love it. It came in a sturdy box and looked new. Very happy

I love love love this book. I even got one for my best friend and she loves it too. You learn so much from it but you also get to do so much with it.

I bought this book for someone who has anxieties. I could not get her to write down her feelings in a blank book, but this book has many different fun writing lessons that may help her to see what is causing her problem. Although she has a full schedule at college, this is a light-handed book with short studies she can do in a small amount of time.
