Great item, lifted my boat with no issues

I used this for jacking up the floors of my pre-Civil War house, which means I was laying in the dirt in the crawl spacer under it while using this. I wouldn't trust just ANY jack to that purpose. This little guy was exactly what I needed to get my floors leveled, and I must used it over 100x a week for month, and it still works like new. It had more than enough capacity to what I needed, and never strained, sagged, or relaxed.

Tested this with a Subaru Outback Wilderness, which has offroad tires and slightly higher clearance than most Sedans. The jack itself worked perfectly and lifted the vehicle just fine. However, even with the screw extension fully out it wasn't able to get the car high enough to remove the tire. This is fine for me since we'll be placing a 2x6 under the jack, but just a heads up if you have a taller car.Note: there's a video and maybe some reviews that say theirs doesn't work at all. The instructions have a method to reset the hydraulic pressure. It's possible those users were experiencing that problem and didn't perform the reset, which I had to do when I first took it out of the box. Worked great after doing so.

I don’t know if it would take everyday use, but for a home mechanic, it works really well.

I use it to unstick double hung windows. My 20+ year old windows are sometimes hard to latch because the upper window has dropped down slightly. And because that part of the window seldom moves they are sometimes break free. Lifting by hand requires a lot of strength, using a hammer is awkward and and even using a wood block between the window frame and the hammer you risk damaging the window. I found the small hydraulic jack a great way to lift the upper window frame tight against the top, so the window could be latched closed.

Finally came as promised with prime. Unfortunately I had to buy two because the first one was taking over a week to arrive but now both are arriving today but I will need to return one. The bottle jack looks new, seems to have great quality, the price is awesome and I think that is going to be perfect for my project.*The delivery service leaved outside so when I went looking for the box I couldn’t find it, I have a big sign (That I bought on Amazon) asking delivery services to enter and leave it inside. (I try to prevent them from being stolen).Update: I returned the first jack because it was coming too late, second because the package was very damaged when arrived and third because this was listed as prime product but arrived one week late. The second one that I have to buy in order of getting it on time arrived on two prime days right before the first one.When I returned the first late jack I think that the persone that works for amazon made the mistake of returning two jacks when I was just giving ONE in return. Today I got the email from Amazon notifying that I was going to be charged for the second jack that they didn’t get back (hello! I returned one not two). The same item I bought with the same seller had two different prices charging me back of course with the expensive one when it wasn’t my fault! Not fair!I going to return the second one because is leaking a lot of oil and I will buy it again with a different seller.

It gets the job done, barely. I needed a block under the jack to help lift my trailer high enough to change a tire.

I ordered this screw jack in the hope that it would help me lift the house that collapsed on one edge. And my expectations were justified. A small but very strong jack easily fulfilled its purpose. Definitely will buy more.
