This shock mount is really nice and tight on most of my large diaphragm condenser mics. I was tired of using the cumbersome and proprietary shock mounts for my Avantone CV-12, AT-4033, Neumann U89i, and David Bock Audio Soundelux U97.I wanted to quick change between those mics without fumbling with each proprietary mount for each change of mic, to save me time and money. This mount does that in spades.The only mic that is a little weird regarding how it is held is the U89i. Due to the tapered contour of the mic body, this mount fastens to the mic really up high, right below the diaphragm screen, so you need to apply any roll off, dB pad, and polar pattern selection before inserting the mic into the mount. Once in, it works well and sounds good.The other mentioned mics fit in this mount nice and tight.Very nice quality mount. Due to the price point, I was able to purchase 3 for different mic stands so that I can really reposition mics in a time efficient manner and not worry about which proprietary mount is on a particular stand.I highly recommend this mount.

It works , but looks and feels a bit flimsy. Let’s see how long it lasts.
