I have decades of what I call farm welding. Get the job done, forget esthetics. Oxycetylene, some arc. Sold those bad boys and now use a sweet little propane/oxygen outfit when I need such a thing.I have had a several year issue with my AC, which repairs have involved brazing projects on the copper condenser tubes.Long story short, these work great. They melt and flow below the temperature of the tubing. No issues with adhesion.Along the way, I tried some Bernzomatic flux coated rods. They not only sucked, they ***** up the last situation to add hours of work for me. The melting point was high, right up there with the tubing. What a mistake. Grrrrr..... Went back to these rods.No flux needed. :)

Fairly easy to braze with but it requires decent heat and it may not be the best if there are nearby components that are heat sensitive
