This is one youâll want to add to your physical library
I only add books to my physical library that I consider five stars. This series so far has been 5+. Hoping with the next book it maintains this rating. In my opinion it takes a lot for an author to maintain the interest of a reader with a duet. Usually it just ends up being a drawn out story that loses its appeal. That is not the case with this duet. Perfectly paced and just as entertaining as the first one. I would definitely recommend

Good plot twist
Love that Penny made him grovel and not just take him back and marry him as expected. Loved how much he loves her and cute ending.

Speechless
Amazing doesnât even cut it. Penny is the epitome of flawed and perfect. Strong. Smart. Funny. So very courageous and utterly genuine and relatable. Like probably most of you, I readâŠa lot and the only other MFC thatâs even come a little close to Pennyâs fire was Mara in Sophie Larkâs âThere Are No Saintsâ but even she died a lil for me by âThere Are No Devilsâ but Penny remained true. Itâs Rafe that proves heâs everything she needs by simply being her constant, just showing up.Neither character becoming something theyâre not. Their essence remain and thatâs so very rare. The only other MMC in H.D. Carltonâs âHaunting Adeline.âI applaud Somme with providing HEA that simmers, that doesnât deliver two wholly changed characters that had us turning every page like food to a starving man when the book started. I thought I loved âSinners Condemnedâ but this one truly did consume.

Amazing as an 'Immersive Read'
Perfect ending to this duet (Sinners Condemned / Sinners Consumed) with so much groveling đ I absolutely adore this series and all of the characters. I don't want to leave any spoilers because I went into this series blind and am so happy I did, but I will suggest that you get the book on KU and listen to the audiobook at the same time. I did that with the last two books (only listened to the first book), and it made the experience so enjoyable. And yes, I own the physical books too...what can I say? I'm obsessed đI know I'm a little late to discovering Somme Sketchers work and haven't been waiting on Gabe and Wrens book as long as everyone else...but I don't know what I'm going to do unill it comes out đđđ

I didnât think I was going to forgive him
And I do think he needed to give her more in the way of acknowledging what and why he did it, but it was a strong finish. Iâm happy for Penny. But Nico? Dang, that got me right in the feels.

My thoughts on Sinners Consumed
âSinners Consumed had its momentsâI enjoyed the intense dynamic between Rafe and Penny, and some of the angst definitely hit. But at times, the drama felt a bit too drawn out, and Rafeâs obsession leaned more frustrating than swoony for me. I finished the book curious about their ending, but it didnât leave the lasting impact I was hoping for.

Rafael Visconti is my new addiction.
Wow im so obsessed with Penny and Rafe đđ Iâm giving this diet a 4.5. I loveddd the relationship in this story and all the trauma both characters had to work out themselves (and on eachother hehe). I do think the intertwining plot in the world took a back seat and I wish we would have got more. Either way I literally am salivating thinking about Gabeâs story. Give me my morally black king.
