I just got back into makeup and I watch a lot of tutorials and they always specify what kind of brush to use and I'm like, ???. My brush set just came with a couple non descript "eye shadow brushes"These brushes come with LABELED HANDLES for noobs like me who are still learning. Very very soft and they work really well! I'll definitely buy this brand again!

Honestly the Jessup makeup brushes in general are the BEST affordable brushes you can get on Amazon. These jessup brushes are the best! I mean all of the jessup brushes are lol. First of all, these brushes are really soft, and they blend my eyeshadow like a dreammmm. I’ve had these for like a month now and I do my eyeshadow makeup everyday… and I haven’t noticed any hairs falling out of the brushes at all!!! So I give this a 10/10 bestiesssss;)

I ordered these because this entire set is a better deal than purchasing a single concealer brush at Ulta. I also really like the fact that each individual brush is labeled, and I’m no makeup artist by any means, so the labels help me and my niece.

This is an amazing set, and for under ten dollars, it’s a ridiculously good deal. There is a great variety of brushes, each labeled with their individual purposes on the handles—I appreciated that because I often get sets and when I don’t really know what the brush is for, I don’t use it very often. When you know what it was designed to do and use it for that purpose, it’s foolproof! They are very soft, and worked well for applying and blending.

I bought these on a whim since I love new brushes. I wasn't expecting to be impressed or have them last given the low price, but I've actually really enjoyed this set. I've had them for about a month now and clean them once per week with Sigma liquid brush cleanser and a silicone mat. So far none of them have shed and they've held their shape. I wouldn't say they are the best for blending tricky pigmented shadows (like ABH subculture) but the shader brushes, angled liner brushes, and the precision crease-type brushes have been great. This would also be a good starter set if you are new to makeup and using specialized brushes.

The eye brushes are great quality, but the face brushes are flimsy and not as dense as my older Jessup brushes.
