Open Water 3 Cage Dive [DVD]

The Premise: Typical theme of young college aged adults set on a doomed adventure trip of sorts to Australia. The goal is a cage dive expedition to see sharks up close…when things go terribly wrong.* NO (cheese factor) in this movie at all… has excellent effects, no cheap Sci-fi channel crap!Additional Facts: The cinematography is absolutely beautiful and crisp. The story is surprisingly well written, with emotional twists and turns. The movie is structured professionally, excellent metering, and the right amount of action. There are (no) dry areas in this movie, it’s actually both fun, exciting and sad to watch. The CG effects were properly used creating very realistic and scary effects. All movie sets, props, and make-up are very good and spot on. The selection of actors was very good and their acting ability was passable to excellence!My personal thoughts on this movie: I had my doubts about this (B-Rated) series…this is the first I have seen. I have not seen the first (2) two installments. Out of boredom I decided to review this movie, my critical eyes were pleasantly surprised at how good this movie actual was. I found myself emotionally concerned, and freaked out over the circumstance these (3) three individuals found themselves in…out in the middle of the ocean. Overall, the movie is damn good!The Facts:1. Running Time: 1hr. 25 min.2. Widescreen HD3. Sound 5.1 DTS-HD4. Beautiful Cinematography.5. I've lost count of how many times I've watched this. The scene with the girl near the end... Omg. Just, watch it.

Not as good as 1 & 2 but that's just my personal opinion. Still a good movie. Quick delivery, no damage.

First of all, even after watching this movie, I still want to go down in a shark cage. But, aside from that, the movie is really well done. Definitely some good jumps and scares! Probably the best out of this franchise. I will say though that the girlfriend needed to get punched so she would STFU!

not a great movie as far as horror goes. I, personally, do not care for movies that are done in real time like this is, to give the impression that things are being filmed as they happen. The girl Meghan was a loudmouth know it all and for all the screaming she did was obnoxious. Did not enjoy this one as much as I thought I would. Wouldn't watch it again

Never watched the movie. Told it was great. Gift for an aunt.

Good movie for anyone who loves shark movies

this was entirely predictable. every "twist" just followed the same pattern that all "found footage" movies go. added bonus i guess with the infidelity and subsequent deaths of the cheater and cheat-ee followed by remorseful sad guy at the end. all in all, i wasted company time and got paid for watching a subpar shark flic. if this is your jam, you'll honestly like it, if your like me and wanna watch a good shark horror movie...maybe find something better.
