works well for the price. reliable product and has worked super well, I have used it on my camera to hold my monitor and it works supper well, It works on all cameras I have tried and is universal, the adjustable head is supper nice for people that want to mount things to their camera, i think this is a great product, It is stable from my experience and sometimes will slip if it is not tight enough

If you're using this to put on top of a flat surface like the top of a tripod the thumb screw head knob thingy gets about 98% tight and then stops just shy of 100% tight because it hits the top of the flat part of the tripod. I was able to work my way around it by putting a washer down - not that big of a deal I also wish that the female 1/4 in bottom entry was securely in place before tightening down the thumb screw. I just think it's annoying Personally - I'm using this for mounting a projector on top of a tripod - so I guess it's not really intended for that but it's pretty much the only issues I have found Other than that this thing is great. It's super tiny and really well made, it can hold my 2 lb tripod Rock solid at a 45° angle no problem Everything is made from metal and the quality feels very nice. I think getting two of them for this price is a good deal. It was difficult for me to find the exact weight but with the shoe attached on my scale it weighs 63 g Hope this helps you

Garbage. YOU WILL NEVER EVER BE ABLE TO TIGHTEN THEM ENOUGH TO MAKE THEM STAY PUT. THEY WILL ALWAYS BE LOOSE - EVEN AFTER EXTREME TIGHTENING - They fail. Plus they are rust magnets, so don't use them outside. I like the SmallRig brand for other products, and being properly fooled I bought a pair, found them immediately annoying, but waited too long to complain or return. Today I was using them because I was out of good working non-SmallRig units, remembered I had them in my junk drawer having forgotten why they were not in my shooting bag, and they successsfully pissed me off again. Good quality. Nice and sturdy.

I love thee ballheads. They are VERY good quality, small (which is good) but surprisingly sturdy. Once you tighten the knob, the ball will not move. One thing I wish was improved is the length and size of the "wing" used to tighten the head. It's a bit too small and it makes it hard to operate. Other than that I am extremely happy. I also like that it comes with a lot of extra bits.
