I purchased this watch because I wanted an automatic watch. When I saw this "open heart" model, I had to have it. The back viewing of the winding mechanism is a plus for me. I love the workings of a watch! Some say the watch is made in China. It may be, but the 96A201 movement is a Miyota, made in Japan. In a 4 day test comparing to an atomic clock on my phone, my watch gains 3 seconds. This is very acceptable for me. I have the black version, and feel it is very stylish watch. I don't understand the pricing of this watch. I paid $248. The next day it was $357, and the next day $550. The gray colored version is priced at $247. So shop around. When I get the funds, I will be buying the green version, I like it that much. The leather strap on this watch is quality, and flexible, which makes it easy to put on. This watch also has a "hack" feature. This means when setting it, the second hand stops, for very accurate setting. For me this watch was a good buy, and I would recommend it.

My new favorite watch. Been watching this watch for over three years and finally pulled the trigger. The watch is absolutely beautiful and stunning with the full view of the internal parts running. You don’t hear any crazy noises from the working parts. It’s very versatile as you can dress it up or wear it casually. Very comfortable and the size of the facing is perfect for smaller wrists as well. The only downside is the band is kinda big/long, but it still fits in the last hole. Overall a solid 9/10 rating. Worth every penny!

Every watch I get, I wear for a week to really bond with it. This watch was the easiest one to connect with straight out of the box. The fit is comfortable, the movement and sound give it character, and it’s lightweight enough to wear all day. The style is very versatile and works with almost anything.

Got on prime day for a great value. I have a few automatic watches but no dress watches. The accuracy is 1-2 seconds fast per 24 hours. Size could be slightly smaller since it is a dress watch, I also had to add an extra hole in the strap for my 6.5 inch wrists. The weight is light and unnoticeable, the watch only makes noise while the rotor spins. After sizing correctly, I don’t want to take it off. It was between this or the Bambino and I’m glad I picked this.

I ordered this because I really like the Bulova company and the quality that goes into their timepieces. I prefer the automatic self-winding watches that rely on mechanical gears, with jewels to reduce friction, and no batteries to run down and change. So far this has been very accurate for me, keeping the right time within about 10 to 15 seconds per day. This particular watch is stainless steel and black with a quality leather watchband and a classic look. It radiates quality without appearing ostentatious. It is just what I need when I’m at work. I still like to have a watch on my wrist so I’m not pulling my phone out of my pocket whenever I need to check the time. The watch gears and movement can be viewed from the transparent backing, and there is a small round understated window on the face of the watch as well. I specifically purchased this style of Bulova watch because I wanted the classic Bulova tuning fork logo at the 12:00 position, which is not present universally on all Bulova watches. This watch makes a great gift for any executive types in the family or circle of friends, especially those persons that are hard to shop for. I also recommend obtaining a mechanical rotating watch winder for automatic watches, many kinds are available here on Amazon. This keeps the watch from running down if you don’t use it for a few days. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase, it is a good value for an elegant watch. Highly recommended.
