It can be used indoors, but if the fuel used generates a lot of carbon dioxide, regular ventilation is required

Q: Is it possible to buy extra stove pipe sections?

Yes it is very easy to buy the extra pipe on Amazon. I would recommend a section or 2. Just remember if you go higher you need to put guide wires 3 of them on the pipe to prevent the wind from blowing it over. The stove works great and keeps you warm. but you should burn oak as it lasts longer and gives off more heat in BTU. I split them down to 2 1/2 inches by 13 inches. You can go up to 3 inches but, be careful not to stuff it too full as to get the fire drafting up the chimney. You should also be aware that you need to stoke the fire every 2 1/2 - 3 hrs.
