Incredible Sound Quality at an Unbeatable Price
These speakers are breathtaking. I've tried them in two different setups: near-field listening on my desk and on top of ELAC bookshelves with speaker stands. To get the best sound, I recommend placing the speakers on stands and giving them at least 2-3 feet of space from the wall for the rear ports to breathe. For near-field listening, they have detailed and clear mid-range. The treble can be a little fatiguing at this distance, but that can be solved through equalization. Despite the small size of the speakers, the low end is surprisingly good. 80Hz-100Hz is punchy and detailed. 60Hz-70Hz is where it starts to drop off, but it’s still audible at this distance. 40Hz-59Hz drops off harder and is much less audible. Below 40Hz is pretty much non-existent. But what more can you expect from little 4” woofers. Overall the sound signature is quite flat, which I like. As far as imaging and sound stage they are very impressive, they are quite wide with instruments and vocals that don't sound like they're coming directly from the drivers. When placed on speaker stands, the extra room and distance greatly improves the sound quality, making the speakers sound even more impressive. The treble fatigue is reduced, and the low end is improved. The imaging and sound stage are greatly enhanced, and the speakers truly sound massive. Simply incredible. I've connected the speakers in three ways: RCA from my ifi Zen DAC V1, S/PDIF optical from my PC, and Bluetooth. How do each sound? Well, as far as purity, technically optical should sound the best as these speakers use a DSP crossover. So sending them an analog signal is going to get converted back to digital, then the crossover will be applied, then the speaker's internal DAC will convert them back to analog. Personally, I hear no difference between RCA and optical on these speakers. Bluetooth sounds just okay, I believe it's using the AAC codec, though it could be aptX, so it's not going to be as good as LDAC or other Hi-Res codecs. I encountered an issue where the speakers would emit a low-frequency hum if they were turned on and set to the AUX input while the DAC was off. However, since I keep my DAC on all the time, this won't be a concern for me. If this humming sound bothers you, you might want to consider using optical, coaxial, or Bluetooth instead. One thing that would make these speakers even better is if they had an LFE output on the speakers for a subwoofer. But if you use RCA, you could buy a splitter, pass one to the speakers, and the other to a powered sub that has line in. You would need to have a DAC that can act as a preamp otherwise you would have to change volume on the speakers and the sub which would be annoying. My reference speakers are the ELAC Uni-Fi 2.0 UB52 and Emotiva Airmotiv SE12 with the topping E30 DAC and Yamaha as301 integrated (I wasn’t using the sub for the comparisons as it wouldn’t be fair.) The OS-10s are impressively close in terms of sound quality, with nearly the same imaging, sound stage, and detail as the ELACs. The 100Hz-130Hz range on the OS-10s is actually cleaner than the ELACs. I blind A/B’d between the two and was stunned as there is very little difference. If the ELAC’s are 100% in terms of overall quality then the OS-10’s are 97%. It’s unreal. As Zeos said in his video, if these cost $400, they would still be worth every penny. Note: If you prefer neutral sound, you'll love these speakers. However, if you're a bass head, these speakers may not be for you as it's difficult to connect a subwoofer. My overall ratings based on the price: Sound quality: 10/10 Imaging: 9/10 Vertical off-axis Imaging: 9/10 Horizontal off-axis Imaging: 8/10 Sound stage: 9/10 Instrumental Separation: 9/10 Low end: 9/10 Mid range: 10/10 Treble: 9/10 Features: 8/10 (LFE out would make it a 10) Remote: 8/10 (It works, but you need to point it within 10 degrees of the IR receiver) Value: 10/10 Build quality/design: 10/10 Overall a 9/10, but considering the sheer value, they are getting an easy 10/10.

Cute and sound pretty good. Very impressed
Update: Moved these to my daughter's. Set her up with a Wiim streamer and these little OS10s and she couldn't be happier. Before letting them go, I decided to place them where my TV goes for fun and man, these little speakers really pump out a lot of sound for their size. These make great first speakers and are extremely versatile. You can use them for your tv/theater set up, on your desk, or on a bookshelf. Loud enough to be your main speaker setup and small enough to put into other rooms. I uploaded a video of these things on top my mains. The recording probably doesn't do it justice... but they really put out a nice full sound. My listening area is around 500 sq ft and it has absolutely no problem filling the room with sound. Highly recommend. Original Review: They’re nice little speakers. They feel a bit plasticky and cheap. But the cloth shell helps elevate the look over other small speakers. They sound nice. They can be a little boomy in the bass on the desk and next to a wall. Elevating them really helps. Good little set of speakers. I run them through a usb preamp and they work great. The volume and input controls are a little annoying so it’s much nicer to use the knob on the preamp. I don’t like capacitive touch buttons. They are too sensitive and make an annoying light. I had to cover them with electrical tape. Overall, I’m pretty happy with them. Music sounds very good and they have plenty of oomph for gaming

Not the best quality control.
Update: Swan had good customer service and sent me a replacement pair. So far it's working well as expected. I have two pairs of these and for the price, these are awesome. Great speakers for a desk! Much better than any sound bar for the price! And yes, I had a few soundbars that cost twice the price and didn't sound as good as these. The sound coming out of these is quite remarkable for what you pay for. Perfect for any small area like a bedroom or home office. Possible even a smaller living room. Like the mids and bass. Overall pretty warm profile to my ears. Not ear piercing on the highs. Definitely a more fun than accurate sound. So, perfect for general entertainment listening! Previous: Overall I love the design, size and sound for the price. Had a pair that worked great for my main office! So naturally it was a good choice to get a second pair for a second desk area. Unfortunately the second pair died after about 2 days... Assuming you get a pair that isn't defective, these are a fantastic choice. But with the experience of the second pair, I do have to give it a lower score since they're not guaranteed to work. Also read some reviews on multiple sites, seems like it is not uncommon for these to have some degree of quality control issues. Buy with caution, or maybe look at other options. My first pair are still working fantastic, it is a shame the second didn't do so well.

Punches Way Above Its Weight - Amazing Sound & Stellar Customer Support
I don't usually write reviews, but the Swan OS-10 speakers absolutely deserve one. These compact bookshelf speakers pack an outstanding punch for their size and price. The soundstage is impressively wide and immersive, with excellent presence, clarity, and detail. Whether I'm listening to music, gaming, or watching movies, the OS-10s deliver rich, accurate audio that belies their size. They truly punch well above their weight class. Now, aside from the amazing audio performance, I want to highlight the exceptional customer service I received. I initially ran into an issue with the touch control system—specifically, I lost the remote. Unfortunately, Swan didn’t have a way for me to purchase a replacement remote at the time, and due to high tariffs, shipping the entire unit back for repair wasn’t realistic or affordable. This could've been the end of the story, but it wasn’t. Swan’s support team, went above and beyond. First, they offered to send me a returned unit with a working remote, though it would take time to reach me. But then, Swan took it a step further and arranged to send me a brand new set of OS-10 speakers—no strings attached. I was floored. That level of service is rare these days. This experience just reaffirms why I’ve been a loyal Swan customer for years. I bought my first pair of Swan speakers, the M200MKII, back in 2012, and they are still my main PC speakers after 13 years of daily use without a single issue. Swan builds products that last, and more importantly, they stand by their customers. Incredible value. Superb sound. Decent build quality. And now, confirmed top-tier support. Swan continues to impress.

Fantastic versatile speaker
Had os-10 for a week now. These are definitely great sounding speakers for the money. You have to understand the cheaper the product, more compromises one will have to make. I ordered 2 pairs and both work just fine. I all ready have multiple systems through out my house. And my main one costs $4,000. Sound wise swan os-10 is detailed with good separation between instruments. Vocals are in front of the stage making tv and movie watching very clear. Os-10 sounds big for its size and not laid back at all. They make you toe tap. They are revealing and some songs will sound better than others. But like everything in life, nothing is perfect. They are made out of plastic and box resonates at some bass frequencies. It can be audible depending on your set up. If you put it on hollow furniture near a wall you might experience some booming in upper range of bass. However if you put them on dedicated stands with room around them they sound phenomenal. Same setup guidelines apply when using them on desktop. The better you isolate them with room around them, the better they sound. Remote is more to be desired. Remote must be pointed directly at the powered speaker. Volume increments could be better. One thing to note is that when using remote or control pad on os-10, person has to press a button once to wake up the control pad than again to activate the function of the button. For example, To switch input i have to press the input button to activate the pad than press input button again for input to switch. Same applies to power button. I hope swan os-10 will last and it gets my recommendation.

Cost-effective audio excellence!
Great sound clarity with a punchy mid-bass that deepens after break-in. Surprisingly ample, clean volume even in the living room from the internal amps. Stand mounted with room to breath, they project an articulate soundstage that confidently presents all but the lowest bass octaves. With multiple ways to connect (cables included), and stable bt streaming, the price/performance ratio of these Swans speakers is unreal!

great sound but acted up within 2 months and now completely useless within 10 months!
SO I primarily used these for my PC set up and sometimes Bluetooth, I would use them about 2-3x a week. I work from home 2 days a week and have multiple monitors running, while working I would have music or podcasts going usually all day or YouTube in the background. these would mostly be at 50% or lower volume but I would hear a strange vibration issue on the right woofer (didn't know that at the time) it would only act up with music since its more dynamic than a podcast or youtube tech videos, I just thought oh wow the bass is vibrating something on my desk. then yesterday moved them to the living room to A/B against other speakers but this time even at 50% I could hear a distortion and through testing I figured it was the right woofer. bought it November 2023 and within 2 months that noise appeared. 10 months later the speaker is unusable. if you like playing music over 50% be warned! although I dont see this is a common issue but just insane that for the most part these have not been pushed hard at all and when i did try to push them a bit the driver acted funky. I did not buy the warranty Via Amazon but its ridiculous that before the year mark these got damaged. I hope HIVI reaches out to make it right. besides all that, when the speakers did work they were actually impressive. decent highs. great mids and great bass for such a small foot print. cable for left speaker is decent sized i want to say 6-8 feet? just wished it had a sub out option to be able to fill a bigger room and obviously better LF drivers.

Exceptional speakers for the price, don't last long term
These speakers have been incredible for my living room and saw daily use as a soundbar replacement. After 2 years, they have developed a nasty hiss, though, which is present in all input modes, volumes and when muted. If something is playing then it is imperceptible, but it is very audible when going through app menus or when the tv/fire stick goes to sleep. If these were left on 24/7 I could almost understand this, but these were turned off when not in use. On the plus side: Great clarity, impressive output and overall great little units. Lots of inputs, simple remote, sleek design and can fit nearly anywhere. On the downside: Don't ever lose the remote because the touch controls flat out do not work. And on the rare occasion they do work, it's for entirely the wrong reason and now you're stuck in bluetooth mode or muted until you get the remote out. The cable connecting the two speakers is either way too long, or JUST too short to fit around most common TV sizes, but I was able to make an extension that worked for my purposes. Also worth mentioning that this was a replacement set because the first set I got were DOA and had to be returned.
