My Inventions: The Autobiography of Nikola Tesla

undisputed genius!
A short book, shorter than I expected, but nevertheless brilliant, just as inspirational but I guess he was a busy bloke! Visions, sleepless nights, stimulants, gambling and mental health problems from the first chapter! I’ve got the physical book also, and I couldn’t put it down! A tragic unappreciated genius, ahead of his time, some of his visions are still being developed today! Of course, I am finishing off the book by listening on audible while my phone charges up on a wireless charger one of his many visions, which I thought was quite ironic / apt.

Not quite as described.
I originally bought this book last year and, for whatever reason, didn't get round to reading it until this year. Order confirmation, dispatch and delivery all excellent but did think at the time it was a mighty slim volume to describe such a man's life's work but, to be fair, I did not pay attention to number of pages in item description so my bad there. In total this book is less than 50 pages and, although very interesting, is in no way a full version of events, it appears to be a collection of musings, maybe diary and journal entries and anecdotes from conversations. It is an excellent introduction to someone new to Tesla and his works and does give an idea of the scope of his work and genius. Wasn't too expensive so probably fair for the price.

Fascinating view into the mind of visionary. The man went through so such but drew strength from his condition and struggles.

This book is a must read...
This book was phenomenal. It kept at the edge of the seat, where I actually felt as if I was listening ot the man himself. His experiences were very 5D and his authenticity makes you go inside your own thoughts and question many things.. He was a humble and extraordinary man.

Tesla in his own arrogant words.
My Inventions is the autobiography of Nikola tesla, one of the greatest inventors whose output changed the world. This is a very short book, especially considering the number of inventions and patents Tesla made in his lifetime. The book feels like it was written by the great man rather than tidied up by a professional writer and this adds to the feel of the book. It is clearly written in his direct and concise manner without any rambling into what the inventor thought was unimportant information. However, this also helps to make Nikola appear as a very arrogant self-important person with sentences such as “These amount to a discovery which I consider of the greatest moment to human society”. I suppose after receiving so much praise and awards for his inventions it must inevitably bolster any ego. Also readers should beware that there is a moment of casual racism in the book when Tesla remarks on “How Tesla’s Mind Recuperates” and laughable references to the US’s ‘leading’ role in world peace. An interesting read for those interested in Tesla and his significant contribution to todays technological world slightly marred by Teslas own arrogance.

Tesla, a genius of invention!
A wonderful example of a visionary from his earliest days to world fame. Even now many of his ideas have not been appreciated let alone exploited. Like so many high achievers, he was a man before his time. Such an exciting and fascinating life story!
