Dual Sides Led 24V

Does exactly what it says on the tin! Great light coverage, brought as my camera wasn’t the best in night vision mode and quite frustrating keep using my phone when working on the printer or ever just taking prints off. Switch mount has to be 3D printed, some users say it breaks but I printed with ASA and 50% infill and was very solid. Only thing I don’t particularly like is how it sits loosely in the rails, but maybe if you peeled the tape of and attached it (despite the manual saying not to) it would probably be much better.

Very easy to fit looks good when installed however you do need a voltage regulator as the lights flicker as the machine is in operation, so by reducing the voltage, it will help to maintain a lifespan of the LEDs and reduces the flicker.

I bought the light bars for the sides & it said does not include hotend light, but when I got mine it did have the hotend light! I decided not to install it though because of problems other reviewers have encountered & honestly, you don't need it. The side lights are plenty bright enough as you can see from the picture. I would strongly suggest you watch the install video, which I did not! had I done so I would have installed from the light fitting down to the wiring rather than the other way around. If you do it properly, it looks good & is nice & tidy too. Reason I gave 3 stars for install? It real is not easy to get the wire down the black tubing they supply (worth doing though) & I had to re-splice the ends of the wires as there was no way enough to reach the terminals. Also be real careful that the contacts etc are covered properly & not touching the frame, otherwise you will get a short. It is a good product but needs going through the video first, which isn't made all that clear & you have to search Youtube for it!

I have been after some lighting for my Ender 3 v2 Neo for some time. Fitted this unit, but was wary of opening the power supply as this would throw my level and z offset out (taken me long enough to get it just right) So opted for a 24v 1a plug in converter which came with loads of adapters and a screw terminal option. 24V 1A Power Supply Cord 24 Volts Charger £12.99 on Amazon All working well and the z offset is still fine. I hope this is of help as I was looking at the reviews to see if anyone had tried an external power source.

Really handy light upgrade and easy to install. Very bright and able to illuminate the print bed well. You have to print off your own print bracket, which makes it a fun installation. A very useful no-brainer upgrade for price.

Happy to see it come with screws for the mount and though it was funny it asks you to 3d print your own button mount. I understand the reason behind and fully support it tho, glad to see a responsible seller. The led strips are full of leds and not those that have wide gaps between leds, if anything it's too powerful so I wish it had an option to dim them so I can keep it on at night when I go to bed. I usually check up on my prints using a torch but with this I don't need to anymore, 100% recommended Instalation was super easy with the tools my ender 3 already came with, just used a larger screwdriver to remove the power unit from the frame to access the rear 2 screws.

So this is my second UniTak3D LED Light kit for my Ender 3 S1 Printer. While this kit is primarily designed for the Ender 3 Pro/V2, it can easily be adapted to the S1 and other printers using 24-volt power supplies. This is literally a complete kit with Two LED Strips(with an inline switch), Black Wire Rubber Retention Strip, an LED Light for Hot-End, Manual, and T-nuts and bolts. The latter is for a print that is on Thingiverse that is a mount for the switch. Very easy to install on the Ender 3 S1 since it has a power supply plug on the top right rear of the printer, you just need to add a 3-pin jtag connector, so you don't even need to remove any panels to access the power supply. While the manual isn't very detailed it does list the Thingiverse Number of the item to print as well as a QR Code to a well-made youtube installation video. Pros: Easy to install, Dual Side LED's which don't cast a shadow on your prints if you are shooting videos during printing. Addition of a Hot-End LED. Much brighter than their single LED overhead version. Cons: Nothing is perfect, while the Single LED version they sell has a touch sensor on/off that also acts as a dimmer switch, this version only includes a physical on/off switch. In the end, I would much prefer the brighter LEDs of this kit over the single LED strip version. I would definitely recommend this kit to any Ender 3/Pro/V2/S1 owner. All of the items in this kit could be sourced separately, but you would end up spending more money, and would be less convenient, and would need to solder and heat shrink your connectors.
