2 Ice Pack (Medium)

Better than expected. Nice outside cover. Gel gets very cold and stays cold for a good 2 hours or more. They are flexible and a nice size. I have only used them cold. But they can be used for heat. Very good instructions on heating the pads.

omg, this is great, always have back pain, easy to just take out of freezer and use. quality is great, easy to use, Comfortable to use on back or any body part that is needed. very versatile, even gave one to my son. Folds easy , size is great

Pros: * Price - 2 for the price of 1 in most retail outlets. In fact, I've paid double just for 1. * Works a charm, stays super cold for a long, long time, longer than most ice packs I've used. * Large size means I don't need 4 to place on varying aching places. They also flatten down nicely so you can lie on them, if necessary. Cons: * The 2 ice packs don't come with covers, so you do need to use either a light tea towel or buy/make covers. Also, they're super cold, so you cannot use these over a thin shirt... you need that extra layer of skin protection a cover or thin towel provides. Good to know: * Disclaimer: Although dual purpose, I don't use these as heating pads. I use electric heating pads & need ice more than heat, so can't comment on durability if used for heating-cooling over & over. Given that they hold cold so well, I'd imagine they do the same with heat. * Great customer service. Just as I received the packs in the mail, I received instructions in email from the seller to ensure I knew how to use them. I'm an old pro with ice packs, unfortunately, but I do appreciate the care. Great purchase, although I'm a bit annoyed that I'll have to make my own covers for the packs... the cost to purchase is more than the packs, in most cases. 4.5* out of 5. -.5* just as they come with no covers.

Having one in the freezer while using the heat of the other (or reverse) works great. I am amazed at how long they hold both the heat and the ice. For my back, the size, shape, and thickness is perfect. Would definitely purchase the pair again.

I ordered two set of the gel packs for different locations for where I need them and have had them for just barely a year now and they're great. They get very, very cold and stay cold for at least 40 minutes. They're also very plyable when cold so I can shape them to fit my knees. I freeze then together and they do stick together, so you have to wait a bit before pulling them apart. I started to feel a slick, slippery coating on my hands that didn’t evaporate easily and noticed that the gel was seeping through the stitching from both packs. It's easily rinsed off but hoped it would last longer.

These ice pads are nice and big. They also get cold quickly and seem to stay cold longer. I did have to sew a cover as they are cold enough to burn bare skin or thin clothing. We really love them

large and useful for a larger muscle group. I used it on the hip and I-t band. Worked very well.

I purchased these for my 80 year old mom. She has lots of aches and pains. She already had a gel ice pack, but it was big and bulky. My mom has pretty severe restless leg syndrome. While she is on prescription meds, she still suffers from it I had recently read that putting ice packs under your calves before bed/while you sleep can help with restless leg. I purchased these for her as they are flatter and easy to use for this purpose. She said it is really working for her!! The only comment she had is that they stay cold, but are almost too cold at first. I had her just drape a lightweight hand towel over them, and that solved the problem. She likes how they are flexible and easy to store. It was also a good value as there were two in this pack for just a few dollars more than similar singular ones. It is always nice to find something that not only works, but is also a good value.
