Oh my goodness!! I love this! I play it for my children as they sleep every night. One gets the Old Covenant, the other gets the Gospels...then a trade off.. 😁😊Such peaceful sleep and keeps bad dreams away. My great grand mother did it for me when I was growing up by tape player.. Never had another bad dream.Nothing like the Word of Yahweh to keep a soul at peace!! 😊💞Buying one for my room next!((Note!!!, only a MP3 cd player will play these. Sony sells one on here we bought for a reasonable price and such a great player for the money too. You'll see my review there))

Wow! The whole KJ Bible on just two MP3 discs - one for the OT and the other for the NT. Alexander has the very best voice in my opinion. Just make sure your car's CD player can read MP3 format - my 2012 BMW X5 can but my 2009 650 can't. The former read in the OT and now I don't even need the disc in that vehicle.

I see actual files written in June 2005. How you get files writen in 2017 as crowed about, or 2016 or 2012, as independent articles have written about, as having been "Remastered", with the latest technology available in 2017, and then, when actual files are examined to have been written in June 2005 beats me! Maybe it's simply another miracle we're just learning about only now?? But wait, let me 1st put a call into Pastor Angely and find out fo sho. What are the chances? This product has had more supposed facelifts than Joan Rivers. There is simply zero specific production information or documentation to support their claims, but they're not alone either. :(

I just recently received The Audio (New Testament)King James Version, narrated by Alexander Scourby.A few comments I hope would be helpful to others.This is the first time I have ever done any kind of review offering a opinion on a product shipped by Amazon.Because this is my third or fourth purchase,I wanted to comment.First I have to say I have been very pleased with how quickly Amazon processes their orders.I usually get a product a couple days sooner than I was expecting.Regarding this particular product:I do like the quality of the sound of the narrators voice.(So far I have only listened to one CD).The beauty of having something like a CD of the Bible,is it affords anyone the chance to listen to the Word of God while traveling or in your home.As a minister,listening helps reinforce what I have already read.On the negative side:This particular CD, skips around between each chapter.For example;If you are listening to Matthew Chapter one,at the conclusion of chapter one the CD,may skip to chapter 16 or some other chapter.I don't know if all the CD's will be like that.Time will tell.This CD set is made in Taiwan.The Publisher is "Hendrickson",in Peabody,MA.For a charge of $4.00/per CD, they will replace a defective CD.I hope all the CD's I have do not skip like the first one I have listened to.Fifteen CD's come in a package of the New Testament King James Version.They also provide a very nice zippered carrying case.If you do like Alexander Scourby,you may want to look and see if Amazon offers a higher quality version than the one I purchased.I hope this review is of help to someone.

The perfect BIble CD for those who spend a lot of time on the road. With fewer disks to change and keep track of, the rich voice of Scourby allows you to transport through time. No audible compression was used to fit the entire Bible on these CDs as some recordings seems to speed up as if a chipmunk was reading without taking a breath. AWESOME.

The details in photo that it is for playback on a computer should've been clearer in description, because most newer cars don't have CD players and my older Car 2004 Toyota has, but it will not playback CD-ROM. That saidIf it did work in my car I would love to be able to saturate and emerse my mind with the redemptive words of the Scriptures. The Bible is the only source of knowledge of God's salvation plan, and the only truth that one can trust in these ends times when everyday words are being redefined to meaningless definitions and pop culture is promoting sensation based evidence of spirituality...strong delusions coming!

Awesome to hear the Word of God in my car. King James is the only version that has it correct. Just believe every word in this Book. Without Faith it is impossible to please God. And it pleased him by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. For God so loved the World, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever "Believeth" in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Love this audio. Narrator is easy to acclimate to and has natural punctuation and inflection of voice which makes this audio Bible easy to follow. Sound tracks are blended and dubbed so minor differences in recording quality can be noted from time to time.
