SHINEVI Portable Headphone Amplifier (Black)

I have returned this product. This product is mislabeled. This product is not an amplifier and does not increase dB. This product is just an active EQ. Most EQ controls on your output device will do the same identical task and therefore you have no need for this additional product. This product would only be suitable for enabling EQ from a 3.5mm output that doesn’t have presets or EQ control. Giving it one star because it is Chinese garbage they mislabeled as an amplifier to try and reel in a couple suckers that weren’t paying attention. Amazon should forbid this.

I have a 2006 Toyota Sienna with a decent OEM sound system including AUX port. However, when I hook up my phone to play music, the volume level is is very weak and I have to crank up the volume of my phone and the van sound system to MAX to hear much of anything.I purchased this device in hopes that it would AMPLIFY the volume of the signal coming from my phone. Unfortunately, it does not do that. I tested it with both an iPad mini 2 and a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, and it does not AMPLIFY/INCREASE the volume.However, it DOES play with the sound signal in the sense that it increases the base levels noticeably, and I found that aspect quite agreeable. If that is what you are looking for, then this is for you. But it won't amplify your volume. I will be returning this device.

I was pleasantly surprised by this. I find my phone to have a really interesting treble, almost tinny, sound. I still like to use my phone for music when I am out because I hate having a 50th item to keep charged and ready to go. It just gets to be too much over time...that being said..this needs to be charged, and that's annoying to me, so it is a tradeoff. The good news is that it does a good job for such an affordable, and small device. I really like this part. It changed the tone of the music on my phone by a TON. Really different, and much more pleasant tunes experience. I love that! All in all this is a good little option that amplifies the bass tones a lot. For me that's just important, and I love that enough to say this is a great and affordable solution for those of us who don't want to spend as much on a want over a need.

I originally bought this because my ANC Nakamichi headphones seemed to no longer have enough loudness.I then tried using the amp with various cans I had and found that it made an amazing difference on my Sharkk electrostatix hybrid headphones (an excellent price her on Amazon BTW). All I can say is the sound is astounding from them now. I can't imagine this rig sounding any better with a $100+ amp - the SHINEVI is remarkably effective.

This just makes it a little louder and adds bass, I don't want bass if I wanted bass I just change the EQ. I wanted my Sony Xperia ultra to be as loud as my Samsung s9, which it didn't do. It lowered the sound quality and added bass, don't buy for extra loudness

This piece of equipment is great if you are trying to add a 6 inch extension to your headphones however if you would like to amplify the volume this product is not for you! There is absolutely no difference in volume with or without this thing save your money doesn’t work

worked great till it didnt . It lasted about a month.sounds great when it decides to work. Im thinking its a whimpy plug.Beef up the plug and it will be a great product. Until then dont bother, It will end up a 17 dollar paperwight.

It does amply but dont expect a huge difference. For daily portable use it seems more of hassle to charge it and have it hanging with your phone. I'm using it from my computer to my receiver and I'm liking it so far, usb is right there ready to recharge any time.
