Impressive little camera that swivels
I just recently installed another camera and I was fairly satisfied. However, the viewing angle wasn’t the best, so when I came upon another camera by the same maker that allowed me to change the angle of the lens I had to buy it. It was very inexpensive and it turns out that despite how little the actual camera is, it delivers a very clear image. As I mentioned, getting this camera wasn’t a huge investment or anything, so I didn’t hesitate. But I did have a question in my mind as to how I was going to position the lens. Would it be done once-only before mounting it, could it be moved after the fact, and how? I couldn’t really tell from the description, so I’m here to tell you it’s super easy. There is a tiny Allen/hex screw that holds the camera in place. The screw is mounted on the opposite side of the channel on the camera-mount that allows the camera to swivel. The camera can move pretty freely and the only thing restricting its movement is the slack or tightness of the cables behind it. So make sure you leave yourself a little wiggle room there. The package includes the aforementioned Allen wrench, and since I already had everything else wired from a previous installation, this was literally a five minute installation. They took a pretty good back-up camera and made it ten times better with this ability to swivel.

Excellent, adjustable position, camera
I am using this device as a wide angle front door security camera, white and green wires cut to give clear, normal viewing angle. Looks like 120 degrees field of view. Camera adjusts to high and low light level. TV resolution is fine. Adjustable lens mount very nice, indeed. Works like a champ. Raayoo cameras are of good quality. I will buy more. Very satisfied. Night vision unused. CMOS sensor quite decent.

Works Well, Not Great
The RAAYOO L008 18.5mm, 360 Degree, Rotatable, Vehicle Backup Camera has not wowed me. It works fine and all, but after using it for a few weeks, I have to say, it has not been a great experience for me, just okay.First of all the installation was going just fine, until I got to the point where it was time to adjust the angle of the camera. As soon as I loosened the little screw that holds the camera in place inside the socket, it was no longer a simple install. The moment that screw is loosened, the camera spins freely within the ball socket. There is no guidelines or track that keeps the camera in any sort of fixed position or orientation. It took me nearly an hour just to get the image to be right side up and level. It was very frustrating. After all that hassle, I find that even with the camera lens on the upward-most position, it still isn't quite the right angle for a good rearview image. I'm seeing more of the ground than I'd like and less of the obstacles around me and in the distance.I am able to use the camera to park the car safely, it's just not the best one out there. Also, the lens holds droplets of water in quite an annoying manner. This causes the image to become nearly useless as long as there is water on it. So, if you live in an area that gets rain year-round, this issue will become bothersome.Overall, it is an okay rearview camera for me. It gets the job done for an inexpensive aftermarket add-on.

Narrow field of view
The package came with everything that you will need to install it. The picture quality is decent, but the main reason I bought this camera is because I needed a camera adjustable in all directions and because I needed a wide field of view. It is certainly well adjustable, although the small screw that it comes with to fix it is already rusting after only a week of use, and the field of view is decidedly narrow. I was replacing my rear view camera because the field of view was too narrow and I ended up with the same field of view, only from a higher point on my car. If you are looking for a camera with a wide viewing angle, like the ones that come OEM with the cars, this is not the camera you need.

Quality & best price on the web
Ok, I've been in the a professional installer for over 20yrs & I'm impressed with this camera & I will say it's under priced ! U get good resolution, great adjustability in a small size, that'll match the quality of $80+ cameras. And they give u wire ties wire connectors (even though I don't use them) electric tape "not bad stuff either" & an allen 🔧

Don’t was your money!
Would not even turn on. I have been installing cameras in vehicles for a while and this seemed like a good option. It does come with the necessary tools to install it, but did not function. Always make sure to test before you start drilling

Camera is great easy to install
With the included tools it was easy to install and run the wiring to my car screen. The kit comes with a drill bit with the exact size so that you can make a hole for this camera. The guideline alignment for the reverse camera takes a bit but once you got it down just tighten a screen and set it. Wiring is pretty easy, just plug and play. There is a pair of wires to cut to adjust the screen.

Too flimsy for a backup camera
Received the camera with high expectations. I installed the camera in my cx5 as a backup camera and noticed that the camera is very flimsy. The retaining ring on top which holds The camera in place is too flimsy and the camera adjustment lens has a tiny set screw which I lost. Overall I decided to not install this camera and I installed a different camera with a more secure mount and fixed lens.
